beautifully decorated, second-level,
three-bedroom/two-bath beachfront Casa. It offers a large living
room, dining area, and a fully-
appointed gourmet kitchen (including a professional stainless DCS
range)with the most spectacular
beach/bay views in Newport Beach. It is being offered for rent for
the first time Summer 2008. Be
the first to experience pure bliss!

Casa 229 is the NEWEST remodeled Casa de Balboa Newport Beach
Vacation Rentals property. The lot is
50 feet wide - affording a rather large lengthy travertine covered
deck across the width of the
property!

Views! Views! Views! Unlike many oceanside properties (with no view
due to the width of the beach),
you'll have amazing views both day and night! Our premium location is
directly across from a
beautiful large bay beach (Mother's Beach) - with views across
Newport Bay of the beach, boats, the
islands, Fashion Island, Newport Coast, and the mountains in back of
all that! The view is
particularly lovely at night with city and bay lights.

Watch the boats pass by from the comfort of your master bedroom,
living room - and, of course, from
your large private deck (furnished with the finest Kingsley Bate deep
seat lounging cushioned
furniture). The deck also affords front-row seating for the Fourth of
July Boat Parade and the world-
famous Newport Harbor Christmas Boat Parade.!

In addition to our bay front location, the property is just one short
block from the ocean boardwalk
and pier. And it's within walking distance of many restaurants
offering a variety of fare. Enjoy
Mexican cuisine, seafood (including the famous Crab Cooker two blocks
away), Italian, Sushi, and
several gourmet restaurants such as Renato's, Ocean Front, El
Ranchito, and Arches at their two new
locations.!

Walk or bike to Balboa Island, Lido, and the Fun Center, located near
the Pavilion.!

This home was recently extensively renovated. The floors, including
the master bedroom floor, are
lovely dark stained Virginia Vintage maple hardwood planks hand
distressed and scraped. The floors
are protected with natural seagrass rugs.

Cozy up to the gorgeous cobblestone fireplace with your hot apple
cider at Thanksgiving and
Christmas OR when you are staying just to do a little fall shoppping at
South Coast Plaza, Fashion
Island, or the many fine boutiques and shops that dot Newport Beach.

The decor is upscale beachy with a British Colonial/Tommy Bahama feel
with slip-covered furniture
and tons of beautiful artwork. It's painted in a soothing neutral
palette - designed to enhance the
lovely water view.!

All bedrooms are efficient, with built-ins in the closets. To add
more of a Caribbean feel, the
window coverings are all lined Bamboo Roman shades. The master
bedroom has sliding doors to the
front deck with substantial views! There are two new bathrooms
beautifully done in limestone. One is
private to the master bedroom. !

There is sleeping for six in beds - with a NEW Cal King Heavenly
pillow top for the master and New
Queen Westin Heavenly pillow top for the secondary bedroom. The third
bedroom has two twin beds. A
NEW upscale sofa sleeper can accommodate two more guests.!

The property is well maintained and always super clean.!

Bring your fishing poles! There is a small bay dock two doors away
for fishing and loading/unloading
passengers. There are electric and motor boats for rent at the
Pavilion. Don't forget your tennis
rackets too! Free Courts are two blocks away. And there's a great tot
lot just one block away!!

From the moment you walk through the dutch door, you'll feel "at
home" - and maybe a little pampered at the beach.

This is the finest luxury rental in Southern California! It has everything....literally! We keep extending our stay(and wanted to stay another week) and were VERY lucky to do so since these units are ALWAYS booked! If you want luxury and ocean and beach and private and quiet and romantic and.........this is IT!! And, this is just not another rental.....Pam the owner treats it like she owns it....oh, she does! The finishing touches are all there and maintained weekly.....supreme customer care and service on top of it all! Thanks so much for an incredible stay....already looking to come back!

Wow! Casa de Balboa definitely exceeded our expectations! We were impressed by the pictures on the internet however when we walked in the house we thought we walked into a decorators showroom! The furnishings were beautiful and everthing was so clean and well cared for. The view was spectacular and the bay was very peaceful. We took a family vote when we checked out and it was a unanimous 10!! We can not wait to spend another vacation at Casa de Balboa 229!!
