Vacation Rental Description

Casa de la Palmas is located in the "central historical" area within  
the walled in city of Cartagena de Indias. This private house has  
been fully restored reflecting colonial architecture with  
contemporary style and elegance. 
 
Cartagena de Indias was founded in the 1500's, has a colorful  
history, and is nominated by UNESCO as a, "Cultural Heritage of  
Mankind". The sizable walled in city is completely fortified and  
offers a bustling downtown shopping area and markets, beautifully  
restored biuldings and homes, churches and a cathedral, and museums,  
all scattered amoung many parks and squares. 
 
A walk thru the city reviels carefully preserved and restored  
architecture and colorful flowered balconies that Cartagena is now  
famous for. For the more sophisticated traveler, a cosmopolitan life  
awaites you in the many fine restaurants, clubs, spas, and shops.  
From street side Cafes, tropical cruisines, and late night  
entertainment, Cartagena will satisfie all your hearts disires. 
 
The Caribbean Sea offers warm sea breezes and the nearby beaches and

into a large foyer and center court yard with a beautifully tiled  
swimming pool. Two airconditioned saloons, dinning room for eight,  
and fully equiped kitchen and modern conveniences await you. 
The split level home offers three air-conditioned bedrooms each with  
full bath. One bedroom offers two doubles, one with two singles, one  
with a double and adjoining sette area. 
 
The roof top patio with great views includes a bar, and seperate  
staff quarters. Throughout the house; vaulted ceilings reveal rustic  
polished wooden beam construction, and beautifully tiled floors  
detialing a remarkable level of finnish to this spectacular home.

The Caribbean Sea side historical city of Cartagena de Indias will  
offer many lasting memories of your holdiay. Inside the walled in

walking distance. The nearby new city of Boca Grande offers a modern
