Vacation Rental Description

Our cottage has been completely renovated, inside and out, and top to
bottom. It's pure "Florida" with its vintage jalousie windows,
terrific view, large yard and front deck. "Osprey Cottage" is the
perfect hideaway, located on a quiet residential street in Crystal 
Beach. 

Crystal Beach was developed in 1912, making it one of Florida's 
oldest
vacation villages. Before that, it was a community of fisherman, and
some of the original "cracker houses" remain, beautifylly restored 
and
lending historic charm. Most of the streets are paved with white
shell, and the village is bounded by water on three sides; the Gulf 
of
Mexico, Sutherland Bayou, and Avery Bayou.

Our complete renovation includes ceramic tile floors throughout, 
brand
new kitchen, and ceiling fans in each room. It has a view of Avery
Bayou (with its resident Ospreys) from the front deck, and is only 3
short blocks from the Gulf of Mexico. Crystal Beach has its own town
park, beach, and fishing pier...all within easy walking distance. Our
cottage is located just a few steps from Pinellas Trail, featuring 34
miles of walking, biking, and roller blading. Located midway between
Tarpon Springs and Clearwater, Osprey Cottage is a perfect base for
your vacation pleasures.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Two bedrooms, one bath, living room, family/dining room (with futon
sofa) provide plenty of space for your vacation. New central heat/AC.
Ceiling fans in every room. Kitchen has all new cabinets and is fully
equipped, including microwave and dishwasher, all utensils and 
dishes.
Local phone service and basic cable included. Television and VCR.
There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. All linens and towels 
are provided. Fenced in front porch is big enough for outdoor dining.
The cottage, and Crystal Beach is pet friendly, so bring your furry loved ones!  

Activities and Attractions

Just 3 blocks from beautiful Gulf sunsets, close to beaches. Golfers
will enjoy famed Innesbrook Resort, just up the road. Bicycle, roller
blade, boat rentals and kayak guided tours from Simply Kayaking are 
nearby.

Crystal Beach has been compared with Key West for its old-time charm
and relaxed life-style. It is a family-friendly community, and is
close to all the major attractions of the central Gulf Coast.
