Vacation Rental Description

   Step into peaceful seclusion & quiet solitude, atop a hillside, 
with views overlooking Bear Lake. Centrally located minutes away 
from Rendezvous State Park, public beaches, and the boat ramps. We 
hope you come to discover some of Bear Lake's many fun outdoor 
recreational activities.

   Our charming retreat will afford you a chance to admire the 
exceptional mountain, valley, and lake views from the spacious wrap 
around deck. The cottage sits on one acre and is host occasionally 
to local wildlife. This allows you the quiet privacy that rental 
condos cannot give. You are sure to love your stay at our wonderful 
Bear Lake Cottage.

   This charming 100 year old cottage has been renovated inside and 
out. It has been furnished with quality pieces, many handmade 
locally, including some choice antiques. Enjoy your downtime with 
the family watching movies on the big screen. Soak up some quiet 
time in the romantic claw foot tub. Take in the morning peering 
through the 100 year old blown glass window panes, admiring the 
gorgeous view of Bear Lake.
   

Vacation Rental Amenities

   Our well-appointed three bedroom cottage will comfortably sleep 
8. Sink into peaceful sleep on an inviting queen pillow top bed. 
This one of a kind master bed was constructed by a local artist from 
a 100+ year old bull chute from the old Smithfield Stockyards. Your 
children will have sweet dreams in either downstairs bedrooms. One 
bedroom has two rustic twin log beds, custom made locally in Logan, 
Utah. The other bedroom has two cozy twin bent hickory log beds, 
custom made by the Amish in Pennsylvania. ther family room also 
sleeps two on the queen pillow top sofa sleeper. 

Use the stainless steel BBQ and enjoy grilling dinner while sitting 
on the deck overlooking the valley & lake. Our well-equipped kitchen 
has all the ammenities of home.

Activities and Attractions

   The cottage is accessible year round. If you are craving a 
delicious fresh raspberry shake you can find one at any of the many 
local restaurants. Or drop into the local candy store for fresh 
chocolate dipped raspberries. In the summer enjoy one of the many 
outdoor activities like: boating, water skiing, taking out some wave 
runners, kayaking, biking, or swimming & relaxing on the beach.

Spring, Summer and Fall you can fish, golf, hike into a secret lake, 
mountain bike our many unforgettable canyons, bike from Logan to 
Jackson in the LOTOJA Classic, triathalon, go scuba diving, spend a 
day on the trails with a horse or four wheelers, explore a cave, 
hunt, rodeo, photography, take in a ghost town, or check out our 
incredible bird watching, and wildlife viewing. 

In the winter go snow skiing, sledding, cross country skiing & snow 
shoeing, ice skating or ice fishing. Don't forget the Bear Lake 
valley is fast becoming one of the most popular snowmobiling areas 
in the western United States, ranked 3rd by two major snowmobiling 
magazines. Come experience our 650 miles of unparalleled snowmobile 
trails. No matter the activity we are certain you won't go home 
disappointed.
