Vacation Rental Description

   Relax and share the delights of desert living at its finest this "winter" in our spacious,  
comfortable, fully furnished home right on the first fairway of the Dinah Shore course in the  
prestigious gated community of Mission Hills Country Club!  Sunlight fills each room and gardens  
surround you in an environment where space allows everyone to enjoy themelves in their own space -  
inside and out. 
   Refurbished with new berber carpeting and a fresh coat of paint throughout, this extra large home  
accommodates family visitors as well as friends.  Two couples can choose to share a vacation without  
tripping over one another.  Each of the three bedrooms has a slider for a direct exit outdoors. 
   Two of the bedrooms have king beds and their own en-suite bathrooms, so in essence there are two  
master suites in our home; the third bedroom has twin beds with a third bathroom in the hallway just  
outside tht bedroom's door.  The modern, tiled kitchen is filled with built-ins: Subzero fridge,  
microwave, coffeemaker, range and oven, dishwasher and disposal - every convenience to make your  
stay easy and enjoyable.  And the cupboards contain everything you need to cook, eat and entertain -  
everything you might need is there waiting for you to use and enjoy. 
   The 20x22' sunken living room has a cathedral ceiling, leather furniture and a large gas  
fireplace for cozy evenings of drink and conversation.  The living room's wet bar has a pass through  
window to the back patio.  The separate dining area off the ditchen has comfortable seating for six  
but you'll want to spend many meals grilling on the gas BBQ on the patio and eating around the  
lovely outdoor table just beside the grill, or relaxing in one of the lounge chairs watching someone  
else cook.  Our plantings create a private space, though you can look out and watch the golfers pass  
by cursing the challenging course, if you choose to do so - you'll be glad not to be part of a 'nice  
walk spoiled.' 

Vacation Rental Amenities

   Located in the first phase of Mission Hills, our association boasts more green space than any  
other phase; the common area just beyond our home is filled with citrus trees and pleasant walkways,  
as well as five pools and spas for the exclusive use of just 50 homeowners and their guests.  One  
pool and a warm, inviting hot tub is located just steps away from our back patio, so convenient for  
an early morning (or late night) swim or soak. 
   The front entrance patio has a tangerine tree gracing the entrance gate and a lemon tree climing  
up the wall just inside the front courtyard.  The utterly delicious grapefruit tree outside one of  
the master bedrooms is a routine morning stop for almost every visitor.   Two TVs are cable supplied  
with more channels than you will ever require, though if you want your own selections a VCR/DVD  
player and full CD player stereo system stand by as alternatives.  All linens are supplied and  
there's a washer and dryer, so all you need to bring are your clothes, sports equipment and reading  
materials for the vacation of a lifetime!  We even have a garage for your car.

Aqua Caliente Casino, gambling, entertainment and food - just blocks away (two others nearby) 
Westin Mission Hills Resort (public golf) next door, and over 100 courses in the area

Aerial tram ride in Palm Springs up to top of mountain 
The Living Desert - a favorite with kids and nature lovers of all ages

Palm Springs Airport - 7 miles away; Ontario or Orange County airports just a 1 1/2 hour's drive

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates below include electricity, heat, water, gas, cable, garbage collection and condo fees.   
Nonrefundable $125 cleaning fee per visit.  Security Deposit of $500 refunded within 15 days  
provided no damage.  No smokers.  Pets not preferred. 
 
Available by the month or half month (1-15, 16-end): 
   November or December 2008: $4,200 full month, $2,800 half month 
   January through April 2009: $4,900 full month, $3,200 half month 
   May 2009: $4,500 full month; $3,000 half month 
 
Full season rental - Nov. 15, 2008 through May 15, 2009: $25,000
