Village Retreat in Longboat Key

Experience Old Florida in historic Longbeach Village, at the northern end of Longboat Key. This laid-back retreat is located in a peaceful neighborhood with quaint homes nestled in tropical foliage along winding roads beside the picturesque Sarasota Bay. No high-rises here! This is "The Village".

Once a general store and post office, this renovated duplex is artistically landscaped and sits on a corner, very close to the bay. Each unit has it's own private entrance and outdoor space. The first floor unit is a 2BR/1BA with its own lanai/porch in the front and patio in the rear. Second floor unit is 2.5BR/1BA with a private terrace, water views, and a landscaped patio on the side. On site, there is a shared laundry room and off street parking for cars & a boat.

To really experience "The Village" rise early one morning to the sound of the wild peacocks and sip your coffee on the dock of the bay, while watching the sunrise and the sea birds start their day. You might even be greeted by the dolphins and the manatees who swim in these waters. 

This unique setting and comfortably furnished home allows for a relaxing vacation on LBK.

1st Floor unit has 2 Bedrooms, each with a Queen Bed. 

2nd Floor unit has 2 and a half Bedrooms; 1 with King Bed, 2nd with Queen, and half BR with Twin Day-Bed

The Sarasota Bay and The Gulf of Mexico's beautiful white sand beaches, are both a short walk from the property for Swimming, Boating, Fishing, Kayaking, Sunbathing, Watching Sea Birds, Marine Animals, Sunrises and Sunsets. You can also walk to laid-back-island Restaurants, Bars, Arts Center, Shopping, and Massage, all within five minutes. 

Just over the bridge to the north is Anna Maria Island with its charming towns of Bradenton Beach, Holmes Beach and Anna Maria, where you'll find more Stores, Bars and Restaurants, Fishing Piers and Antique Shops.

A 15 minute, scenic drive south on LBK takes you past Elegant Homes, Golf Courses, Small Shopping Centers, Parks, Nature Trails. Cross Longboat Pass onto Lido Key, where you can visit The Mote Aquarium and St. Armand Circle, known for it's Upscale Shops, Fine Dining and Casual Restaurants and Cafes. 

Five minutes further, across The Sarasota Bay Bridge is Downtown Sarasota, for more Shopping and Restaurants, Art Galleries, Theaters, The Famous Ringling Museum and The Marie Selby Botanical Gardens.

For those who wish to explore further, to the south are the islands of Siesta Key and Casey Key, then Venice Beach. To the north, St. Petersberg is about 45 Minutes, Tampa an hour, and Orlando is about 2 hours.

With so many options there is so much to do. Or do nothing at all but while away the hours on a lounge chair with a good book at your peaceful retreat in the quite neighborhood of Longbeach Village.
