Shalom 2 in Crystal Beach

This adorable house with a large fenced yard is located on the
Bolivar Peninsula in Crystal Beach. The Property is in the quiet
Emerald Beach #1 subdivision. It is off hwy 87 just 9 miles from the
Galveston ferry. Enjoy a nice view of the gulf from the house or
from the spacious furniture laden deck. Of course you can just sit a spell and relax as you listen
to the
waves. The beach is a very short walk away. For those new to Crystal
Beach you can also drive (your car, or golf cart) on the beach!
FYI- Owner's personal camper is in the extra lot behind the house this summer. It is not used
whatsoever as a rental. We just wanted you to know who it belongs to.. The yard is huge so it does
not interfere at all with the house you are renting. You cannot even see it unless you walk behind
the house.

This cute house accomodates a dozen folks and is easy to spot as you pull up to the large yard
fenced with chain link. You will find a 1/2 bath and a BBQ grill and a ping pong table in the
storage room downstairs. We have provided you with plenty of the heavy duty (amish wooden) patio
furniture both up and down. The house has central heat and air. Great care has been taken to make
this six loungers upstairs in addtion to the built in seating made in to the deck.
home comfortable and inviting. You will love the beach decor throughout. Enter through the
sunroom/utility room that has a full size washer and dryer. Next you will be surprised when you walk
in to the open kitchen, dining and living area with vaulted ceilings and walls all covered in wood.
There are lots of windows and large sliding glass doors allowing access to the large deck. The
kitchen has everything you need to cook up and serve something scrumptious. You will find all
cooking utensils, dishes, flatware, coffee maker, large microwave, a deep fryer, crock pots, toaster
oven, griddles, stock pots for crab boiling, and everything you can think of to cook-truly loaded
with appliances and all the kitchen gadgets with many cookbooks! The custom dining room table seats
12. The living room sleeps 6 with a futon, full and
queen size sleeper sofas. The bathroom is off the kitchen. The private bedroom sleeps 5 with a queen
bed, a full size bed and a twin. There is a TV, VCR and DVD player in the living room. The bedroom
has a TV and VCR and an alarm clock. We provide all linens including pillows and extra blankets.

This is one of the best areas for fishing with the gulf, jetties and
many bays, roll over pass and piers. Those who enjoy birding will be
delighted. Crystal Beach is a quaint yet fun place to visit with
lots to keep you entertained. There is a great grocery store and
very good restaurants. It is one of the few places you can drive
your car on the beach, have a small fire (away from dunes) and shoot
off fire works!! Of course Galveston with all it has to offer
is just a ferry ride away.

Summer rates-May 16, through Labor Day 2008:
$725.00 weekly (7 day 6 night stay) During the summer we always try to rent by the week. We will
only offer weekend rentals a few days before the weekend and only if the house is not taken for the
week, in that case we will allow it to be rented for the weekend at the rate of $350.00

There is a $25.00 application fee.
There is a non refundable reservation deposit and a cleaning/damage
deposit is required. You are responsible for thoroughly cleaning the
house when you leave. Your cleaning/damage deposit will be returned
within 30 days after you vacate and the house is inspected.
We rent to families only. Reservations are accepted from and keys
are given to adults 25 years and up only who are required to be at
the house the duration of the rental period. No prom, spring break,
graduation or college groups.
Any evidence of smoking or
pets will forfeit your rental without refund and or lose
your deposit. If you need to accomodate more people, my Shalom 3, 4
and 5 are all on the same street. Perfect for that family reunion!
