Vacation Rental Description

This beautiful lakeview condo, in Country Western decor, is all  
about luxury and comfort:  You will love the extremely comfortable  
new Queen beds (with high thread count sheets) in two of the three  
downstairs bedrooms.  The Master bedroom has its own bathroom/vanity  
area.  The third bedroom, the "Rob and Laura Petrie room," has two  
twin beds.   
 
Upstairs is an open floor plan, so you can enjoy the lake view from  
any location. In the kitchen, a new toaster, coffee maker,  
Cuisinart, crock pot, and knives have been added for easy cooking.   
The upstairs deck holds a new outdoor patio furniture set which  
conveniently folds up into its own storage.  Also added is a new gas  
grill for outdoor cooking. A service refrigerator on the deck gives  
you the convenience of storing your marinating meat or refreshments.   
In the summer, we set out the deck furniture outside so you can enoy  
a beautiful evening after a wonderful barbecue meal. 
 
In the living room, enjoy two FULL couches (one a Lazy Boy recliner  
and the other an extra - padded queen pullout) for relaxing TV (with  
cable) or movie viewing.  The dining room, just behind the  
kitchen with a secluded garden view, boasts an antler chandelier  
which can be adjusted for any mood.  DSL has been installed, with a  
computer, in the office area or you can bring your own and plug it  
into the DSL line should you want to check e-mail while you are out  
of the office.  Because the little ones like toys, the nearby antique  
chest boasts  
all kinds of games and surprises!  
 
Virtually every area in the condo, including the high beams, has   
been painted a light color, so you will notice the light flowing in  
which highlights the many Country Western antiques.   

Vacation Rental Amenities

This premier condo is part of the Dollar Hill II condominium  
complex,located 2 miles north of Tahoe City toward Incline, at  
Dollar Point. Because it is at the highest point of the complex, it  
boasts direct views of the lake, with Mount Tallac dotting the  
skyline.  (Also, this unit is quieter than others because it is away  
from the street and as it is the highest, it looks above and beyond  
all the other units in the complex.)   
 
In the summer, you can walk a few blocks to the Lake, and  
also there are vast mountain bike and hiking trails behind the condo  
by a few blocks.  The lake trail is just across the street, so you  
can bike or walk a few minutes into Tahoe City.  A large pool, hot  
tub, spa, and tennis courts are located in the Clubhouse area.   
 
In the Winter, the mountain bike and hiking trails transform into  
the cross country ski resort!  The property is ideally situated:  It  
is just a few minutes' drive to the area ski resorts, including  
Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Incline, Mount Rose, and  
Homewood.  The casinos at the North Shore are a short 15 minute  
drive!  And in Tahoe City, there is a theater and lots of shopping  
and dining to entertain you!  (The paddle boat, which tours the lake  
in the summer months, departs from Tahoe City, just a few minutes  
away.)  

Activities and Attractions

Summer:  Heated Pool, Tennis Courts, Hiking, Biking, Golfing, and  
River Rafting.  The lake is a short five - minute walk.  Tahoe City  
is an easy 20 - minute walk or 10 minute bikeride along a relatively  
flat trail which parallels the main road.   
 
Winter:  Cross - country skiing, snowmobiling, Snow Shoeing, Ice  
Skating, and less than 15 minutes to many major ski resorts,  
including Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, Homewood, Northstar, Mount  
Rose, and Incline Village.  The casinos are 15 minutes away.  

Vacation Rental Rates

'Shoulder Season' rates are $175 per night, through May 15th.  Normal  
summer rates are $200 to $250 per night, depending on Holidays.  
 
Other fees include a $90 cleaning fee, and a $200 damage deposit  
which will be refunded within 30 days after your departure provided  
there is no damage to anything in the condo, and there are no  
missing items.  Extended damage and missing items will be charged  
accordingly.  Payment is required within five days of reserving,  
personal checks only.
