Windansea Beach. Enjoy sunset from the deck looking over treetops
to the Pacific Ocean. Kitchen is fully equipped. Full bath.
Queen bed with new mattress and fresh linens. Day bed
sleeps one more. Crib and high chair available. Walk to
beach, community pool, village of La Jolla. Running path behind
house. Drive to Torrey Pines Golf Course, Scripps Aquarium, San
Diego Zoo, Legoland. Very romantic! Can be combined with rental of
adjoining cottage.

My husband and I stayed in this loft for 4 nights in March 2013. Nancy was away but had left her neighbour in charge. Although we didn't meet him, we knew where to go if there was an issue. Other than the weather, which was foggy, we had a great time. The loft was spacious with lots of windows and high ceilings. The wood floors were great. We cooked in the kitchen and it was well equipped. The bathroom was spotless. The balcony with chairs was wonderful when the sun came out. We could see the ocean in the distance. It was about a 10 minute walk. We loved La Jolla and would definitely stay here again. The neighborhood was residential and quiet. Nancy was in touch and even called my cell phone to make sure everything was ok. My husband didn't find the bed terribly comfortable , but I thought it was fine.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, sight seeing, romantic getaway

A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY

MY HUSBAND AND i STAYED AT TREETOP LOFT FOR 9 DAYS WHILE VISITING OUR 3 GRANDCHILDREN IN LA JOLLA. OUR CHOICE OF THIS PROPERTY WAS PERFECT FOR US. IT WAS A CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL AND VERY COMFORTABLE STUDIO APARTMENT. IT WAS LIKE A HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR US. IT WAS NICE TO HAVE ALL THE AMENITIES OF A HOME RATHER THAN CRAMPED IN A HOTEL ROOM AND THOSE FOUR WALLS. I WAS ABLE TO WALK TO THE OCEAN EVERYDAY AND ENJOY THE TOTAL CALIFORNIA EXPERIENCE. CAN T WAIT TO GO BACK-A VERY BEAUTIFUL LOFT-THANKS TO OUR HOST NANCY

Recommended for: families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, romantic getaway

Perfect getaway for our family

Calm, comfortable, cozy, clean,and charming...The treetops loft was a perfect getaway for our family of four. Nancy was so professional and just a genuinely nice person--all details of our reservation were handled so smoothly, and we all grew to really like her.If I were to design a vacation home, this would be my ideal--beautiful,solid, construction and very charming and unfussy decor.

It's close to everything, including a not at all crowded beach,but in a very calm neighborhood that was so pleasant and fun to walk through--none of that notorious California trafiic made it's way to this area. Although it isn't advertised as such, there were things on hand that made our stay really convenient, like saran wrap, some spices, oils, and salad dressings--I, for one, did not want to have to buy all that for a week's vacation. While I'm sure those items change, take a look in the cupboard before you go shopping. For those who like gardens, hers is really beautiful and well tended--we had fun seeing plants that don't grow in Colorado.
