Vacation Rental Description

Known as the “Jewel of Baja”, Las Gaviotas is a gorgeous, oceanfront  
resort comprising of 300 privately owned homes (24 hr. gated  
security, & walking patrols). Located just 40 minutes south of the  
US/MX border via the beautiful Scenic Road #1, it is only 10 minutes  
south of Rosarito Beach! 
 
Many residents live year-round in exclusive Las Gaviotas, making for  
a “neighborhood” setting brimming with ownership pride.  You too,  
will feel at home as you enter through the gate and pass by the  
lovingly maintained gardens and common areas.  It is a place of  
incredible beauty with the magnificent Pacific Ocean as its  
backdrop.  No wonder, Fox Studios chose this area to film the movie  
Titanic and Master & Commander!  Within a picture perfect setting  
you will be treated to pelicans, dolphins, whales (Jan-March) and  
unforgettable sunrises and sunsets ... and that's just the beginning! 
 
Laze in the sun on our private, sandy beach or under a palapa  
(umbrella made from palm leaves) while tidal pools beckon further  
exploration.  The centrally located clubhouse nestled by the ocean’s  
edge, boasts a heated, Olympic-sized swimming pool and a hot tub big  
enough for you and friends yet to meet.  
 
If you still have energy or calories to burn, feel free to use our  
tennis and volleyball courts or jog around the “compass”.  One lap  
equals one mile.  Save your evenings though, for memorable sunset

Casa de los Sueños (House of Dreams) is an enchanting 2 bedroom, 2.5  
bath, 1900 sq. ft. home with large kitchen, full amenities, large  
dining room, charming authentic Mexican decor lavishly enhanced with  
hand-made tiles and original art throughout. The interior was  
passionately created by Kristi Black Designs to lavish you  
in "earthy elegance".  
 
You will experience amazing 180º sweeping views of Baja’s glorious  
coastline whether relaxing on our large deck (BBQ requires  
briquettes), or preparing your favorite dish in our cocina.  
 
The sound of the sea will soothe your soul and lull you into  
dreamland. Siesta anyone? Watch dolphins play and whales with their  
young grace our beautiful bay ... nature at it's best! 
 
Plus, our "Garden of Ian", is filled with  
stunning plants, flowers & hummingbirds just waiting to meet you!  
  
Our lovely living room becons relaxation with a wood burning  
fireplace (gas jets), 36" cable TV DVD/VHS, Toshiba - 5 disc, MP3  
sound system, cozy leather sofa & recliner, hand-carved antique  
furniture and room to dance! 
 
In our cocina (kitchen) you'll find our reverse osmosis water filtration system for drinking water  
(system is also hooked up to our refrigerator's cold water disperser and ice maker), new dishes, a  
super-duper blender (margarita anyone?), full spice rack, tasteful new flatware & cutlery, new pots  
& pans, and a cupboard filled with yummy teas & coffee, just waiting to be sipped on our "panoramic  
patio". 
 
Each bedroom hosts a king bed with luxurious lines. Refresh your  
soul with luxurious rosemary mint shampoo & Neutrogena body in   
private vanity, shower and toilet. Spa towels are provided. 
 
Our home was completely redecorated with new drapes, furniture,  
flooring, appliances, basically everything (except the kitchen sink)! 
The only thing missing is you! 
 
Other Goodies to Enjoy: Smoke-free environment (ash-trays outside), wireless access, free phone  
calls to US, Canada & Puerto Rico, magazines, games & cards, impressive DVD & Video library, 4  
ceiling fans, dimmer switches everywhere for your desired ambiance,

Pool, Jacuzzi, beachcombing, tennis, vollyball, shuffleboard, deep

horseback riding, hiking, winery tours, Baja Fox Studios Tour, 
shopping, dining (especially at Lobster Village - Puerto Nuevo),  
clubing, four wheeling/ATV's, windsurfing, etc.  Oh yes, you don't  
have to do anything if you don't want to except relax and watch the  
world go by from our "panoramic patio"!

Vacation Rental Rates

* Oct 1st - Feb. 29th: $225. per night, 2-night minimum, excluding  
holidys 
* March 1st - May 29: $275. per night, 3-night minimum  
* June 1st - September 15: $275. per night, 4-night minimum 
* Valentine's Day & President's Day: $275. per night, 3-night minimum 
* Thanksgiving, Xmas, New Years & Easter, $275. per night, 4-night  
minimum   
 
$250. damage/loss deposit plus $30 maid fee is required on all  
reservations. 
 
Maximum occupancy 5 guests with parking for two cars.  
 
All transactions are done through U.S. mail. US Currency, Cashiers  
Check or Money Order. A 50% deposit is required on all transactions.  
Lock-box code will be sent after full payment is received. 
 
Cancellation Policy - Your deposit assures you that your reservation  
will be guaranteed and confirmed. Should a cancellation be necessary  
14 days or more before your scheduled arrival date, a full refund of  
any deposit money paid will be granted (less a $30 service fee).  
HOWEVER, should a cancellation be made less than 14 days prior to  
the scheduled arrival date, any deposit money paid will be returned  
ONLY if our home is rebooked. The service charge as stated above  
will still apply. We believe that a reservation is a contract  
between all parties. We guarantee our home for you and you guarantee  
you will arrive. Private home rentals establish policies that may be  
quite different than major hotel chains.  
 
Security deposit returned within 10 days of check out.  
 
Enjoy our smoke-free casa! Ash trays provided on terrace. 
 
Sorry, no pets allowed in the Las Gaviotas Complex.
