Vacation Rental Description
Our Cabin on Gull Bay:
Cary's Corner is a cabin located in a small bay on
the north shore of Lake George. We are 45 minutes
from the hustle and bustle of the Village of Lake George.
Though it is an easy ride on beautiful country roads to
get there. However, we are only 15 minutes from the
historic town of Ticonderoga.
Cary's Corner's claim to fame is its quiet country atmosphere. We are
on the east side of Lake George which is know as the quiet side of
the lake. Our cabin is surrounded by woods and mountains. We are
2 miles off the main road. So, if you are looking for an off the beaten path
place to hide from the world, get a little R&R or work on your tan, this is
the place for you.
Lake George Area:
Lake George is located in the Adirondack Mountains of NY. The lake
itself is 32 miles long and lies between Ticonderoga to the north
and Lake George Village to the south. Though know for its beautiful
scenery, the region is full of fun for the whole family. Lake George
is home to antique shops, balloon rides, boating, scenic cruises,
fishing, Great Escape theme park, golf, historic sites like Fort
Ticonderoga, horseback riding, markets, museums, outlet shopping,
water sports, and much more.
Vacation Rental Amenities
Cabin:
This vacation home has enough room to accommodate an extended
family as we have 4 bedrooms and can sleep 8 to 10 people comfortably.
The house is located at the base of a hill. The bottom floor
of the house has a mudroom and a storage closet. It is
mainly used for storing beach toys.
The main living area is located on the second floor. This
space includes:
EIK: gas stove, refrigerator, washer\dryer pots, pans, dishes, silverware...
Living Room: 2 sofas, large table with chairs, small TV, VCR, DVD player, Videos
radio. (Please note: we do not have TV reception.
Deck: gas BBQ grill, tables, chairs.
4 Bedrooms:
Mster: Queen bed
RM 1: 2 twin beds
RM 2: full bed
RM 3: 2 twin size bunk beds (sleeps 4)
Bathroom: shower with tub.
Grounds:
We have a larger lawn than most for this area. There is also
a large wrap around deck, which is great for sunbathing and stargazing.
We are NOT located on the water. However, we are about 400 Ft
or so from the public beach and town boat launch. (Sorry we don't have
a dock. Though one may be available to rent when you get there.)
Though boats can easily be stored in the yard. In order to reach these
facilities you must walk down the street. Though “traffic” is not a problem.
However, young children will need a parent to walk them to the beach.

Exercise Facility:
Over 4 miles of paved road! Lots of small and medium hills for a
great workout on foot or bike. Beautiful mountains and lake views
along the way. Great for running, walking or bike riding!
Activities and Attractions
We are a short (30 second) stroll to the public beach, which has a
lifeguard on duty all summer long. The beach host a boardwalk and a
roped off swimming area. Because we are located in a bay, the water
is calm and peaceful, just right for little ones to run and play.
We are right near the boat launch too. You don't have a boat!
That's okay; you can rent on right across the lake in Hague.
Cary's Corner is a great place to unwind from your busy life. Come
enjoy the peace and quiet of our Country Home.
Vacation Rental Rates
Cary's Corner is rented on a weekly basis from the last
week in June through Labor Day Weekend. Parties over 8 will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.

$1300 Sunday July 13 2pm to Saturday July 19 10am
$1375 Saturday July 26 2pm to Saturday August 2 10am
$1325 Monday August 18 to Sunday August 24
$1400 Monday August 25 to Monday September 1 (Labor Day)
Returning tenents are welcome to bring their pets with prior
permission and an additional $100 deposit per pet.
