Hound Ears "View to Die For" 4/4 Home Looking at Grandfather in Blowing Rock

This very private 4/4 home is the last on the street but the first
in view from EVERY room in the house (except the four bathrooms).
This house has a direct panoramic view of Grandfather Mountain, the
Hound Ears Golf Course and the lake on 12th hole. This home has a
covered area for two cars, central air and heat, high ceilings, 3
fireplaces and a fun open house plan upstairs. The Master upstairs
has its own fireplace, TV, and private twin sink bathroom. This
house has plenty of space for parties with a large counter/bar
stools, dining room table and outside porch with two tables, one
with umbrella. A beautiful iron chandelire with candles hang from
one of the enormous trees which shade the home over the table by the
Master Suite doors on the porch. All bedrooms have doors that open
to porches. The three bedrooms downstairs open to a very large
screened porch with 3 fans with lights as well a porch swing and
various porch furniture for relaxing. One bedroom has twin beds, the
second has a queen bed and the last has a King Size bed. There is
an additional family room downstairs, with fireplace, that has a
pull-out couch that sleeps two. There is a pull door for privacy.
There is also a full sized washer and dryer. The two bathrooms
downstairs are marble and granite with a jacuzzi in one. This is a
home you will return to year after year.

The amentities at the club are extensive. You can have someone give
you massages on the private porch or go down to huge workout room
across from the clubhouse. The golf course is private and beautiful
to play. There an informal eating restaurant, open in the summer,
and a more formal restaurant in the newly extensively renovated club
house. In the summer a secluded pool with waterfall, ping pong
tables, basketball and water arobics is available for all ages.
The tennis program is my favorite. Five clay courts with friendly
activities going on every day. It is easy to get games, lessons,
take clinics and play in round robins every Sunday.

Go Hiking,Do Tweetsie Railroad, Go Shopping at Shoppes on the
Parkway, there are a million things to do or stay home and read a
book. There is no better view from a restaurant than that dining
room table. The blue ridge parkway is 5 miles to take a drive
anytime of day.
