Within a few
minutes walk or three short blocks, you will find yourself on the
most beautiful
beach Newport has to offer.
This is a home that will have you feeling that you are at home almost
immediately with its natural warmth, uniqueness and character. This
home is
defined by its jaw dropping views both internally and externally.
Made up of
imported stained glass windows, European doors throughout and century
old
chandeliers and gates, the home expresses a classic style of old
world meets
new world. There are fixtures to the home that date back to the 18th
century
which have been authenticated.
The home is beautifully decorated and cared for with continuous
gardening
and cleaning. The downstairs offers a large and open family room,
kitchen
and dining area with hillside and canal views. Additionally,
downstairs there
is a beautiful office that has all the necessary requirements for
business
needs (fax, phone, high speed cable, flat screen TV etc..).
The kitchen is wide open and has custom cabinets, zinc counter tops,
an
authentic 90 year Magic Chef stove as well as microwave. Entertaining
and
enjoying meals both inside and outside are a must. A large walk-in
pantry
area is also a unique feature to the kitchen.
The family room has very comfortable seating to enjoy the 50” plasma
screen
available along with a fireplace. Technically, the home is equipped
with state
of the art entertaining (DVD/CD/VCR, outdoor speakers, outdoor
lighting). The
50” plasma will allow you to relax on the patio or canal dock and
enjoy its’
great picture.
Master Bed Room-
This room provides a spectacular 180 degree view of the canal and
hill side.
A California king bed is provided in this room with large walk-in
closet and
spacious master bathroom. The master bathroom has a large European
tub
placed in it with water views to take in while bathing. This is a
very spacious
bedroom so placing a 42” LCD flat screen was a recent acquisition. As
well,
there is a DVD/CD player to accommodate. This is a room where an
ocean
breeze and the sound of breaking waves will put you to sleep.
Bedroom 2 is once again a very large bedroom in fact it is probably
the same
size as the master bedroom. An antique style queen size bed is
available in
this room. This room has a very cottagey look and feel to it. The
windows in
this room are absolutely beautiful as the pictures reveal. There is a
large TV/
DVD in room. This room offers very much privacy since it sits at the
front of the
home.
Bedroom 3 is located in between the master and the front of home
bedroom.
This room is very unique with stained glass windows as well as
shutters that
open to the main foyer to the home. There is a classic cottage style
queen bed
located in the room along with a TV/DVD. This bedroom is smaller than
each
of the other bedrooms but is still a very good size bedroom.
Bedding in the home will sleep 6 comfortably with the potential for 2-
3 more
on large sofas/futons.
There are a total of 5 televisions- Living room (50” Flat screen),
Office (21” Flat
screen), Master Bedroom (42” Flat screen LCD), BDR 2 (27” TV/DVD) BDR
3 (
19” TV/DVD)
The Back Yard is where your vacation will begin and end. Breath
taking views
of the canal and hillside will have you taking in sunrises and
sunsets daily.
Enjoy an afternoon sun bathing out on the dock, going for a kayak
paddle,
firing up the barbeque, watching television from afar or just
listening to some
soft music while enjoying outdoor dining. Life on the canal is very
unique and
peaceful. There is much wild life to see every day on the canal,
especially
birds. When you feel the need for some adventure, hop in the kayak
and
enjoy the views that being on the water provide. As well, a 5 minute
kayak
paddle or 2 minute walk can take you to the community recreation
center. The
CRC is located at the end of the street that the home is located on.
The CRC
offers an Olympic size swimming pool, volleyball court in sand,
basketball
court and tennis courts. This facility is very modern and a great
place to relax
after a day at the beach.
Additionally, there is a two car garage with remote and two beach
cruiser
bikes for beach rides.
This is a family home that does not permit smoking in it.
Also, this is a beautiful family oriented neighborhood. The neighbors
will
embrace you very quickly and comfortably as long as they sense your
respect
for their neighborhood.
