Have your best vacation ever on beautiful Dow Island on Lake
Winnipesaukee. Get away from the mainland hassle and stress with
just a five minute boat ride from Harilla Landing or Trexler's
Marine on Moultonboro Neck. A cozy and comfortable cottage on the
quiet side of the lake that sleeps 6-8 people with docking for two
boats up to 23' in length. The cottage was recently updated in 2006
including a new kitchen. With Southwest exposure you will be
relaxing in the sun almost all day and then retire to the spacious
waterfront gazebo and sip on a late afternoon drink while watching
the beautiful sunsets and listening to the cries of the loons.
Shallow water entry for swimming with the kids with no sudden drop
off. Easy access to Trexler's Marine and 19 Mile Bay for launching
your boat.

Totally updated kitchen with microwave, stove, fridge, coffee maker,
toaster oven and plenty of storage space for food which you can cook
in the gas grill on the deck looking out over the lake. There is
satellite TV in the living room and upstairs in the loft.(great for
the kids to go and have a place of their own) There are two bedrooms
on the first floor, the master with a double bed with a direct view
of the lake and the second bedroom towards the back with two twin
beds. Upstairs are two bedrooms with two twin beds in each room.
When you're not boating or swimming you can try out the two single
person kayaks. They make for a great escape to explore around the
surrounding islands first thing in the morning or last thing at
night. You'll absolutely love being down at the water's edge in the
spacious gazebo equiped so that you can have breakfest, lunch or
dinner while watching time go by. Leave your computers behind
because there is no internet service!

Lake Winnipesaukee is the largest lake in New Hampshire and is 26
miles long with numerous activities along the outlying towns. If
great fishing, water skiing or swimming don't fit the bill then
maybe a hunt for antiques or just lakeside dining in Wolfeboro, the
oldest summer resort in New Hampshire will do. Spend the day at the
Weirs, a boardwalk attraction for all ages day or night. Take in a
show at the Lakes Region Summer Theatre. Take a step back in time
with a glorious ride on the Mount Washington, a full service cruise
line. Whatever your desire you can find it along the shores of Lake
Winnipesauke.

A $500 refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental
confirmation. An 8% New Hampshire meals tax is applied to the gross
rental fee.
