"Shellers" Doll House on the water in Marco Island

This home is one of the original Deltona Homes. Built tough it's
compact and easy to
maintain. Decor is cool and comfortable. The house is easy to get
to as Marco Island is directly
on Rt. 951. You reach the house by driving over the bridge to Marco
Island and turning right at the
first light. It's the 10th house on the right with large curved
drive for extra parking. Painted
Gray with Burgandy shutters, the numbers 821 are on the mailbox.
On a lovely, wide & deep waterway, (suitable for sail boats) the
house
is a very short boat ride or car ride from the Marco Island Yacht
Club.
It's direct out, first to the Marco River, then the Gulf of Mexico.
1. This is a cement block and stucco single family house, built on
one level.
2. It includes a 30 ft heated pool, a fully screened & furnished
large lanai.
3. Pool surround has been refinished in a specially cushioned topcoat
that is child friendly for bumps and bruises.
4. Also this pool surround maintains a cool temperature underfoot
even in the summer heat.
5. The living room/dining room and kitchen are decorated in chic NY
style.
6. All main rooms are tiled and easily maintained.
7. Two bathrooms, both newly undated with walk-in showers. Master
Bath has 2 sinks.
8. Both bedrooms are Berber carpeted, furnished with King sized beds,
TV's & DVD's.
9. There are 2 twin sleeper chairs in the Den that easily work as
extra beds for children.
10. Kitchen has been redone in bright white, includes automatic
dishwasher and all new appliances.
11. There is a seperate laundry room with washer/dryer in the home.
12. The house is freshly painted, inside in white and outside in
gray.
13. We've installed an updated A/C system and updated the roofing.
14. The house has basic cable, there is local free wifi in the
neighborhood.
15. Best of all, the Yard & Pool maintenence are included free with the rental and done weekly.  
16. Pool surround is child-friendly w/cushioned topcoat that maintains a
cool temperature underfoot even on the hottest of days.
There's patio furniture seating for 6 plus 2 sun lounges.
Furniture throughout the house is purchased in the last 2 yrs but
this home had never been rented before the fall holidays of 2007.

Dishes, flatware, pots & pans, are fully furnished.
Mattresses and All Linens were brand new last year.
The 3 TV's in the house are cable connected, each with it's own DVD
player.
Dining room seats 6 and the living room loveseat has 2 built in
recliners plus additional seating.
The Galley Kitchen has been updated and not only looks smart but also
works well.
This home has a dock with room for a second boat.
The house is within blocks to shopping on the island.
Marco is famous for it's wide white sandy beaches. There are 2 public
beaches on island.  Both only 5 minutes and 10 minutes from the house.
The large variety of restaurants allows for many different dining
experiences.

Naples, Florida is the nearest city to Marco Island and it's a very
cosmopolitan city with many upscale shops, restaurants, parks and
lovely beaches. It's known for it's own 5th Avenue, the Philharmonic,
and a downtown cultural center. By comparison our Marco Island is
considered pretty laid back and more Key West casual in style.
Marco beaches offer para-sailing, paddle boats, surfing sailing,
jet skis, diving or snorkleing, and kayaking or canoeing for water
fun. Shelling is a very popular activity on the island along with
golf, tennis, racket ball, moped and bike riding. Fishing charters are
available at the marinas for both deep water and back water
fishing or you may rent a boat for your personal boating pleasure.
Those of us who call Marco Island home love the flora and fauna
that's here on display for all to see everyday. The colorful wild life, 

the birds and water fowl. All are an added bonus to help you
beat the winter chills of your northern home.
Our little paradise city of Marco Island has upgraded its main road,
getting itself ready to show off for you, with colorful plantings and new palms filling the medians.
Special brick walkways with safety lighting for street crossings and
the latest in traffic lights are in place now.
Do yourself a favor, give this place time to allow your spirit the
time to come alive again.
Bring your flip flops and watch how you can't stop smiling. Everyone

This $1000.00 per week rate is extended into the "off-season" for a minimum of one month rentals only..for a discounted rate of $3000. per month

during fall and spring (sept, oct, nov & april, may june) the weekly rate is $1250.00

IN SEASON (Jan, Feb, Mar) RATES ARE $1750.per week discounted for extended stays.

Starting Labor Day the rate is $1250. per week with a 10% "discount"
for consecutive weeks booked at the same time. We also require an
additional 20% refundable security deposit. This is returned after the house is vacated.  We do not rent for less than 1 week at a time but do extend the rate for extra days as needed to accomodate longer than weekly stays on the island. We provide special rates for long term rentals and have time during this off season time of the year for those bookings.

None of the rentals will include the use of the boat on the lift at the dock of the house at the present time.
The dock however, comes with the house and can be used for docking a
rental boat. Fishing is also permitted from that dock and even encouraged. There are a few poles provided.
