The "Warm and Cozy" is a traditional log cabin with some modern
conveniences. The "Warm and Cozy" is situated along a long country
lane in a quiet,semi-remote country setting. Facing Southwardly, it
allows the guests a warmer seat on the full front porch with coffee
or tea to enjoy the full range of sunrises and sunsets.
While on the porch or on the 50+ acres, you, your family and friends
will enjoy the views, wildlife, flowers and trees of Eastern West
Virginia and Western Maryland.
All one has to do is, 'Come, Forget for Awhile'.

weekend or vacation memory! Do the things you can't do in the "Big
City"........Like build a camp fire, roast some hot dogs and
marshmallows! We'll make sure you have plenty of good wood.
Don't forget where you are! Hiking, trekking, biking, cross country
skiing, bird watching are all right out the back door. Oh, we almost
forgot...... don't miss an oportunity to spend a few hours along the
marshy boardwalks of the Cranesville Swamp.
If you absolutely must get out for a few minutes, and need a subtle
dose of the city life, Deep Creek Lake, Oakland, MD, Swallow Falls
State Park, Herrington Manor and other points of interest are just
15-30 minutes in a couple different directions from your retreat.
And for those moments when you don't feel like cooking, both casual
and fine dining are a 15-30 minute drive down the road.
