accommodates 8 more adults or teens.

Enjoy panoramic views, swimming, volleyball, hiking, 
kayaking, canoeing, sailboating, berrying on the premises, with golf or tennis nearby. For family get-togethers, 
get away to this idyllic locale that is just one hour from Portland and coastal points of interest as well as 
Freeport, LL Bean or North Conway. 

Step out thebackdoor to a large yard for a rousing game of volleyball or a more sedate game of croquet, or just 
enjoy the company of family and friends around the outdoor firepit.  Or explore the 150 acres of meadow and 
forest preserve land ideal for hiking, berrying, birdwatching or just watching nature pass by.  

Cross the street to more than 40 acres of private woodland that alsooffer 1000 feet of private waterfront 
property with easy access to the crystal clear waters of Pleasant Lake, a dock, float, 6 kayaks, a canoe and a 
sailboat at your disposal, as well as a firepit, barbecue grill, hammocks and beach chairs.  Explore the shoreline, 
watch the loons, fish to your heart's content.  

Take a leisurely bike ride, antique or hike to your heart's 
content. Or play a game of tennis at the public tennis courts just one mile away, or 
golf at nearby Sebago Point.  

Swing on a hammock, cool off with a dip in the 
crystal clear waters of Pleasant Lake, or toast marshmallows and 
tell ghost stories over an outdoor fire. Listen to the call of the 
loons, delight in the show put on every night by the fireflies in 
the field, and wonder at the vast and spectacular star and astronomy 
display presented by an unpolluted night sky. 
 
The house offers everything necessary for a memorable vacation, 
including a large, well-stocked kitchen, and ample comfortable seating for 
dining, lounging, or gameplaying (some games provided, or bring 
your own favorites), as well as a huge fireplace with superefficient woodburning stove.  

This is simple, comfortable living at its best that is a great place 
for families and friends to gather and generate some wonderful

Kitchen equipped to cook for crowds and every occasion (everything 
from mixers to waffle iron to lobster pots and water jugs)

Basic bed sheets/linens provided, but must be left clean. Plenty of 
blankets provided.

Washer/dryer/TV/VCR/DVD player. No cable or internet hook-up.  
Internet is available at the local library 

Amenities - volleyball, badminton, lawn furniture, large hammock, croquet,firepits at house and 
lake, 1 canoe, 6 kayaks, 2 sailboats, charcoal grills at house and 
waterfront, picnic tables, waterfront changing cabin, sandbox, 
gradual water entry, easy haul-in, haul-out area at waterfront,easy 
access to water, dock, float, hammocks, outdoor chairs, loungers, 
lawn furniture, basic (Walmart type) multi-speed bicycles with pump 
(no helmets). Town tennis and basketball courts one mile away.  
Sebago Point golf is just 7 miles away. 

Wintertime amenities - snowshoes (3 pairs), cross country skis (2 
pairs, but bring your own boots), 5 plastic toboggans, woodburning 
stove, boardgames, outdoor firepit,ample storage for ski and outdoor 
clothing, equipment. 

Activities and Attractions

An outdoor paradise and a wonderful family place just to unwind and 
relax.  

Swim or boat to your heart's content, pick berries right on the premises, rediscover the joy of 
playing boardgames, reconnect with family and loved ones.  Sit in a 
chair or swing in a hammock at the lake or at th e house, fish, listen to the birds, or the 
cry of the loons.  In winter, snowshoe, ski, ice fish, or relax in 
front of a roaring fire, read and enjoy the crystal clear views of 
the mountains and just plain enjoy the peace and quiet.

3 downhill ski areas within 30 minutes or one hour's easy 
drive. Cross Country ski out the back door or at Sebago State Park, 
just 7 miles away, or at Lost Valley nordic ski center 
30 minutes away in Auburn. Sledding on the premises right in the 
yard for the toddler set

Casco village is 1.2 miles away and features a small public beach 
(that sometimes offers public skating in winter), library, general 
store/restaurant, post office, bank and ice cream 
stand (seasonal).   
Serious hiking and Maine/NH state parks are within a 30-60 minute 
drive.  
Naples is just 7 miles away and offers a bustling summertime, 
scenic causeway and many tourist activities including parasailing, 
boat rentals, minigolf, rides on the Songo River Queen, etc. 

Sebago Point Golf is just 15 minutes away as well.

Summer theater is also close by, both on the stage and in the form 
of an old-fashioned  drive-in movie theater in Bridgton, just 20 
minutes away. 
Portland is 50 minutes away, as is New Hampshire.  Freeport, with LL 
Bean and the outlet stores, is less than an hour, and the rest of 
Coastal Maine is an easy drive as well. Or, if you'd prefer to shop 
or ski in NH, North Conway outlets and ski areas are within 60-90 
minutes way.  Freiburg, with its famous fall fair is 45 minutes 
away. 
The immediate area offers a multitude of community activities, fairs 
and historical festivals all summer long, including famous Casco 
Days, and a hot air balloon celebration in nearby Lewiston.

Vacation Rental Rates

Early Summer (early June) $1500+/week, plus $600+ 
security/reservation deposit, refundable upon leaving the house in 
good condition, and 7% Maine sales tax

Peak Season (mid-June- mid-September) - $2000+/week (Saturday to 
Saturday), plus $600+ security/reservation deposit, refundable upon 
leaving the house in good condition, and 7% Maine sales 
tax. 
Early Fall (September 9-October 31) - $1800+/week, plus $600 
security/reservation deposit, refundable upon leaving the house in 
good condition, and 7% Maine sales tax. 

Weekend foliage specials (based on availability) - $750+/weekend, 
plus $500+ Security/reservation deposit, refundable upon leaving the 
house in good condition, and 7% Maine sales tax.

Late Fall (November-early December) - $1500+/week, plus $600+ 
security/reservation, deposit, refundable upon leaving house in good 
condition, and 7% Maine sales tax

Winter- Christmas 2008 December 24-28 (Wednesday-Sunday)$1800+, 
New Year's 2007/2008(Sunday-Sunday)$2400+, February vacation 
week $2000+, Martin Luther King weekend, $1200+.  Other winter 
weeks $1500+ (December-May), plus $600+ security/reservation 
deposit, refundable upon leaving the house in good condition, and 7% 
Maine tax. 

Security/Reservation deposit due at reservation time.  
Balance of all fees, taxes, etc. due no later than 30 days prior to reservation 
date.  
Full refund of deposit if cancelled 60+ days in advance.  Half 
refund 45-59 days.  No refund if cancellation less than 45 days in 
advance of reservation date.  Rates and conditions may be subject to 
change unless and until confirmed in writing.
