It has been completely remodeled, and has a designer gas kitchen with Sub Zero and a wine cooler. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a full bath attached. The rooms are very large and have plenty of storage. If you want a high end unit, this is it. Vacation Rental AmenitiesThis is a non-smoking home. There is a first floor family room with a small refer and microwave. There are 3 TV's with cable, and a separate computer desk. All 3 bedrooms have views of the Ocean. There is a wrap around deck, with a large rear deck with a table and chairs. There is a gas outlet for a BBQ. It is nicely furnished. There is a walkway across the street that is a 200 yard walk to a private beach area. Activities and AttractionsActivities and Attractions Dining / Shopping - The historic and quaint City of Fernandina Beach with numerous shops & restaurants is just minutes away to the north while the Amelia Island Plantation shops are just a 'stone's throw' to the south! Amelia Island prides itself on its variety of restaurants...from casual seafood by the river to fine dining at the Ritz! Take the Mayport Ferry (just south on A1A) over to Mayport / Atlantic Beach or take the 265' high Dames Point Bridge over the intra coastal waterway to Jacksonville, FL (approx. 40 min. away) for more dining / shopping experiences. Golf - Just around the corner is the 27 hole Fernandina Beach Municipal Golf Club and within 2 miles is the Royal Amelia Golf Club. In addition the Golf Club of Amelia and the Amelia Island Plantation golf courses are close by as well...117 holes on the island! Fishing - Red fish, trout and other species can be found in the back waters off the intra coastal waterways among the salt water marshes. Deep sea fishing with many local charter boats at the City Marina and Tiger Point Marina is also available. Surf fishing - Whiting, red fish and trout can be caught just off the beach! Hiking & backpacking - Hike the many trails throughout the island and see all the wildlife that lives amongst us (ie. bobcats, alligators, sea turtles, spoonbills, wild horses) and the amazing list goes on. All these creatures can be seen at great hiking trails and excursions such as Egan's Creek Greenway, Fort Clinch, Talbot Island and Little Talbot Island, Fort George Island and Historic Cumberland Island. Kayaking - Scenic paddling can be found among the tidal creeks of the salt water marshes just south of the Amelia Island Plantation at Big Talbot Island State Park. Horseback Riding - Gallop at sunset along the beach of the beautiful Atlantic Ocean...stables located just south of us on the island. Spas- World renowned on the Amelia Island Plantaion, Ritz Carlton are 'open to the public' ...a pampered treat you'll never forget! Jacksonville Zoo - Spectacular new 'Range of the Jaguars' exhibit in a natural setting. This new and exciting exhibit features four Jaguars and over 100 different animals in seven distinct habitats. A wonderful family outing just 20 min. away. Sports - Baseball - Take the kids to the Jacksonville "Suns" game in their new park (only 40 min. away)! In the fall / winter, watch the Jacksonville Jaguars (football) play in Alltel Stadium, host of the recent 2005 Superbowl! Enjoy all Amelia has to offer!!
