What a great scrap booking house!!! Seven of us took a week end away scrapin and having fun. The house has a great lay out with lots of room to spread out. The kitchen is full stocked and the bedrooms are great too, though we spent little time in them.

Renter Beware!

A $25 non-refundable cleaning fee is charged, which is fine, but they kept an additional $25 for "not vacuuming & sweeping the floors" even though this was not listed in their book of things to do before you leave (items listed are: strip sheets off of bed and put in laundry room, turn heat back to 63 degrees, put dishes in dishwasher and run, take out garbage.) I have rented this home 3-4 times per year for the last couple of years and will NOT be going back!

Owners response: We appreciate the negative as well as the positive reviews in order for us to better serve our guests.

Our apologies to you and your guests that stayed at our home We regret that you feel dissatisfied not receiving your full cleaning deposit of $100 as you
have in the past. The $50 refund was due to the condition the home was left and
the cleaning that was required.

Sisters Get away

For a few years now, my sisters (& friends) and I have been renting this home for weekend getaways. The house is very clean and well maintained with very comfortable furnishing (very comfortable beds). With the spacious accomodation there is plenty of room for scrapbooking, play games, or gathering for good conversations. With Shelton just a quick 20 minutes away and Spencer Lake just down the road you have ample options of place to get a bite to eat or do a little shopping. Looking forward to coming back again next year.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway
