Vacation Rental Description

My house, "Las Iguanas de las Palmas", is located on the Pacific 
Coast of Mexico in a fishing village 25 miles north of Puerto 
Vallarta. It is accessible by bus, taxi, or car (rental at the 
airport).

This house is divided into two units which are not connected 
internally and may be rented separately or together. It was 
remodeled in 2002 adding a third level terrace with palapa and bar. 
This area is included with the upper unit or entire house and can be 
an option to add to the lower unit when no one is using the upper 
unit. There is a splendid view of the ocean and coastline from the 
terrace and it is a great place to sunbathe, watch the sunset, 
or view stars at night. 

The lower unit has a newly enlarged patio featuring a rock 
waterfall/cascade and peaceful garden setting. 
Although the kitchen and sleeping areas  are in one room, there is a 
very large bathroom with separate semi-outdoor shower. 

A new entrance with stone wall along the road was created in 2005.  

The house is in a tropical garden setting, approximately a 5-10 
minute walk to the town plaza and beach. Las Iguanas de las Palmas  
is located on a hill directly up from the Plaza and is a relatively 
easy walk but it is not suitable for wheelchairs or anyone who has 
difficulty with stairs. The upper unit and terrace are not safe for 
very small children (or foolish adults). In Mexico you are 
responsible for your own actions; liability is not assumed by others.

Sayulita is a special place for people who like to adventure 
off the beaten track but it has been "discovered" and is rapidly 
changing.  There is now cell phone service plus an ATM in town. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Upper Unit:  One bedroom with queen-size bed, tiled bathroom, 
kitchen and living room areas with doors openingonto balcony for 
outdoor dining and living. Linens and towels are provided.
Kitchen has gas stove, refrigerator with top freezer, coffee maker, 
blender, cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, and purified water 
supplied.  Stairs from the balcony lead to the terrace which has a 
chaise lounge and chairs plus sink and outdoor shower.

Lower Unit: Large studio apartment with king-size bed plus fold-down 
queen-size futon. Kitchen has gas stove, refrigerator/freezer, 
coffee maker, blender, cooking utensils, dishes, cutlery, linens, 
and purified water provided.  

Both units have ceiling fans and radios with tape/CD players.  No TV 
or microwave.  Bring your own music and a flashlight.

Weekly cleaning is provided with mid-week change of towels.  

Activities and Attractions

Swimming, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, sunbathing, hiking, bird 
watching, zip line, horseback riding, painting classes, surf school, 
reading and relaxing.

Vacation Rental Rates

June 1 to November 1
   $350.00 USD per week, lower unit, two adults, 1-2 children.
    (terrace option when available....with lower unit, $100.00)
   $650.00 USD per week, upper unit, two adults.
   $950.00 USD per week, entire house maximum 4 adults, 2 children.

November 1 to June 1:
   $500.00 per week for lower half of house.
    (terrace option when available....with lower unit, $100.00)
   $800.00 per week for upper half including terrace with palapa.
   $12000.00 weekly for entire house.
