Old Mission House on West Bay in Traverse City

The house is located two mile from downtown on the west shore of
beautiful historic Old Mission Peninsula. It is situated in the
woods and has an accompanying waterfront lot providing access to West
Grand Traverse Bay. You can view beautiful sunsets over the bay from
either the front porch or beach deck. The natural rocky shoreline is
an excellent place for swimming, rock collecting, or evening
campfires. 14 ft. boat available (no motor). Sandy beaches with
lifeguards are within two miles of the house.

The house is a rustic 100-year-old house finished with white pine
lumbered on the peninsula. An addition was added, substantially
upgrading the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms.

The house offers three bedrooms (1 queen), (2 double beds); a day bed
and a sofa bed are also available. Linens are not provided. There
are 2 full bathrooms. The house includes full kitchen facilities,
washer/dryer/ cable TV, fireplace and outdoor gas grill. The house is
professionaly cleaned after each visitor.

The Old Mission Peninsula is the premier vacation spot of Northern
Michigan. Exciting shopping opportunities are available in Traverse
City, Suttons Bay, Leland and Charlevoix, all within in one hour of
the house. The Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, hiking and canoeing trips,
casinos, fine dining, charter fishing, bike trails, golf and winery
tours are offered in the immediate area.

June thru Labor day $850 week, Cherry Festival(second week of July)
$1,000, May, September and October $650. Rates based on Saturday
3:00 pm checkin and Saturday 11:00 am departure. $100 security
deposit due at booking, refunded after stay. Full payment due 2 weeks
in advance of arrival. References available upon request.
