This beautiful detached bungalow sits in its own gated grounds,
complete with gardened terraces, private pool, and sweeping views of
tropical rainforest jungle, Lake Arenal, and the hills of Monteverde
beyond. You literally wake up to the sound of Howler Monkeys and
Toucans every morning! You can linger in our pool, take a pleasant
walk on our garden terraces or in the jungle beyond, or be more
adventurous with the dozens of activities offered in La Fortuna, a
short drive away.
Relax and enjoy your own lake view under our covered patio!
In the evening, you might try one of our many restaurants nearby
(the
world-class "Gingerbread" restaurant is within easy reach, and also
nearby is the famous "Caballo Negro"), or enjoy a romantic dinner at
home in the seclusion of your own private mahogany-furnished dining
room, as you watch the sun setting over the lake.
Our private property is perfect for couples, each of our three
bedrooms having its own self-contained bathroom. You have access to
the world with telephone, fax and internet, and we provide a brand new desktop compuer with 17
inch flat panel LCD monitor, and
combination printer/scanner/photocopier. We also have Satellite TV
and two televisions, together with 300 movies on DVD.
While many of our guests do enjoy all that the area has to offer,
many choose to spend an entire week languishing by the pool,
enjoying
our beautiful terraced gardens, lake/jungle view, local wildlife,
birdwatching, white water rafting, hiking, horseback riding, or just
sleeping-in!

garden has three levels, planted out with flowering shrubs and
trees, and teeming with butterflies and birds.

Computer with Internet: Brand new desktop computer with 17
inch flat panel LCD montor. Internet, combination
fax/printer/scanner, all in house! Your own office right here in
Costa Rica if you need to keep in touch with work.
Other Amenities Three bedrooms, three and a half baths, two kings
and one queen size beds. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. Fully
equipped kitchen (range, oven, electric frying pan, kettle,
microwave, toaster, coffee maker etc.), just like home. All dishes
and utensils provided, along with cookware, and a professional
outdoor grill. Utility room with Washer and dryer, and garage.
Satellite TV, DVD, and Stereo, and Internet service provided, with
computer. Beautiful pool and lounging area, surrounded by jungle,
and wildlife, and walking paths. Very private yet in gated
community.
No Pets Allowed
Handicapped Accessible: Bungalow all on one level, level access from
front door and all internal rooms.

Smoking Not Allowed: Absolutely no smoking, please! Fire
regulations prohibit smoking, and there will be a surcharge from
$250 for cleaning if evidence of smoking is detected - sorry!
Activities and Attractions
Arenal Volcano - One of the world’s top ten most active volcanoes,
with eruptions each day.
Horseback Riding – Ride through the rainforest! There are also
guided tours to the base of Arenal Volcano and to the waterfalls at
La Fortuna.
Local Ecolodge with nature trail, horseback riding etc.
Arenal Hanging Bridges – An easy hiking trail with seven suspended
bridges through the rainforest
White Water Rafting – Costa Rica has some terrific rivers for
exciting white water rafting experiences
Hot Springs – There are various lovely hot springs nearby, including
Ecothermales, Baldi, and Tabacon.
Arenal Botanical Gardens – A good place to view butterflies and
hummingbirds. There is also a serpentarium.
Canopy Tours - Zip from platform to platform through the rain forest
canopy above the forest floor
Venado Caverns - A 1.5 mile system of limestone chambers replete
with
stalactites, stalagmites and underground streams formed 15 to 20
million years ago.
Corobici River Float – View the inhabitants of the tropical
rainforest on a serene river trip
Windsurfing – Lake Arenal is one of the world’s premier windsurfing
lakes, with winds reaching speeds of 30-40 miles per hour. Lessons
are available.
Waterfall Rappelling - Rappel down some of the most spectacular
cascading waterfalls in Costa Rica
