This open and spacious 'modern' 60's style Kismet Fire Island house has lots of light,
new hardwood floors, full kitchen,
big windows, a private 2nd floor deck, a downstairs deck, BBQ,
Outdoor cedar shower, new appliances, new linens, fully
furnished, professionally cleaned, is 45 seconds from the beach and a
very fun house. 4 bedrooms.  It kind of looks like a Fed Ex box on stilts but the center is actually a private decks open to the stars.  This is a great, social space for cooking and sunbathing and napping and hanging out.  It is very unique and great for families and friends who want to enjoy their time together.

From this deck area, you can slip back to the bedroom part of the house while everyone else stays up.  Or go the other way towards the front of the house where the big open kitchen and living room are.

There is also a wood burning stove for late spring for late summer or
fall nights.

We strongly advise folks to head out pre season and look at the house as there are no refunds.  It's older and has character.

Kismet has 2 nice restaurants that are a 2 minute walk away. (Surf's Out and The Inn)  There's also a small market.

No cars allowed on the island at all!

walk away~

Hire the lateral ferry to take your group to any other Fire Island community and explore!

Sept and Oct rates drop significantly and you can rent by the day/ weekend. Same with early June. Makes a great long weekend with friends
