beach and within walking distance to great restaurants (some with
live music), local shopping, and activities. Additional shopping
just over the connector. Play at some of the area's finest golf
courses. Enjoy the wide beaches, tidal pools, swimming in the surf,
searching for star fish and sand dollars, or a little game of low
tide bocceball. Downtown Charleston is just 12 miles away. Learn
more about this charming historic town on a horse-drawn carriage
ride or tour Charleston Bay and Forte Sumter by boat.
