Vacation Rental Description

4 season Heather Cottage is a bright and cheery 2 story house on historic Main Street in  
Stockbridge, Massachusetts. It sets off the main street; parking for 1 car is available.  
Additional vehicles can park on the street.          
Consisting of 3 air conditioned bedrooms and a full bath upstairs, it boasts a full living room,  
dining room, eat-in kitchen on the first floor. Hardwood floors throughout with oriental  
carpets and vintage braided rugs to keep your toes warm. The mix of antique and modern  
furniture and art graces the home.    
Daily housekeeping and use of the laundry room is available at no additional cost.   
Easy to get to, you'll find Heather Cottage an ideal stay for your Berkshire vacation.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Cable TV & dvd player, microwave, refrigerator, stove, housekeeping services, BBQ grill and  
picnic table for your family outdoor gatherings. Use of heated year around outdoor pool and  
spa area with The Red Lion Inn next door.   
The Red Lion Inn offers several eaterie options as well as no cover charge nightly  
entertainment & pub.

Activities and Attractions

The Berkshires is a place for nature & sports, art & music.   
Within a few walking blocks of the Heather Cottage you can visit several theaters, art  
museums, hike many trails, play tennis & golf,  enjoy the summer sounds of the Boston  
Symphony Orchestra at their summer home, Tanglewood, and in the winter, ski at  
Butternut, Bousqet or Catamount Mountains. The Berkshire Botanical Gardens is a short 3  
mile drive and is open 3 seasons yearly.  To the south, nightlife is a short 5 mile drive to  
Great Barrington where you will find lots of shopping, movie theaters, opera house, music  
clubs and several more art galleries.  To the north, Lenox is about 6 miles, and the home of  
Shakespeare & Co, Edith Wharton home, Freylinghouse museum, Canyon Ranch, and  
Kripalu, just for starters.

** Please note certain weeks are considered peak season: President's week,  
Christmas week & Fall Foliage (2 weeks) 
 
General &  Peak Season  Information: 
 
PEAK Season :  $1550 per week USD   
                      President's week: February 8-16,    
                      Summer: July 4 - September 7,   
                      Foliage:   September 27- October 16,  
                      Holiday:   December 19-31 
 
General Non-Peak Season:   $1050 per week USD 
2008   January 1- July 3  (except Presidents week) 
2008   September 8- September 26, October 17- December  18  
 
Full payment is required 30 days prior to rental. 
$100 Security deposit to hold reservation.  
$60 cleaning charge additional. 
Cancellation policy: 45 days in advance for security refund;  
2 weeks advance notice on cancellation, rental portion refund only.  
Pets ok with approval...$50 non-refundable pet deposit REQUIRED. 
Check-in at 3 pm, check-out at 11 am
