Alondra, Los Muertos Beach, Old Town in Puerto Vallarta

Alondra is one of only eleven privately-owned condominiums in one of the most architecturally stunning buildings in Los Muertos, Old Town, Puerto Vallarta. A perfect location - one block from the ocean waves (two minutes walk) but with beach and ocean views. This totally unique building is white and curvilinear with lush garden planters on every level. The ambience is quiet, adult-oriented and gay-friendly. The rooftop deck enjoys panoramic ocean, beach and city views. Sunset and even whale-watching are spectacular!

Alondra is on the third floor, just behind the dipping pool and the red bougainvillea visible in our exterior photo. An easy, zig-zag set of 25 steps leads up the outside of the building to enter our level of the building directly. The pool deck itself is equipped with quality wrought iron table and chairs as well as soft loungers. Alondra is the largest of three units sharing the pool deck. Because of our proximity to the beach and the option of using our even larger rooftop deck, the pool deck remains perfect for eating breakfast outside, a quiet afternoon read or an evening drink. From both decks, you can enjoy ocean and beach views. Even from inside Alondra, you can view the ocean, the pool, neighbouring red-tiled and charmingly domed rooftops.

This is a wonderfully managed building. Your rental rate includes an honest, friendly, English-speaking daytime Manager, daily maid service and nighttime security guard. The building is securely gated. You have keys for the front gate, Alondra and a private lockbox. There is plenty of on-street parking if you need it.

Since 1990, we have owned and operated one of Vancouver, Canada's most successful downtown bed and breakfasts. Alondra is our own personal getaway. It offers you the same professional attention to detail that has earned the trust of many thousands of satisfied return B & B guests. We hope that our Bed and Breakfast's facility to use Visa/MasterCard will also add to the convenience of your rental experience.

Alondra is non-smoking and air-conditioned. Casablanca ceiling fans are also overhead. The spacious living/dining and kitchen area is open concept with two large opening windows. We have comfy seating for relaxing or eating in. You can stay connected with cable TV, ADSL & WIFI & a nice little sound system with MP-3 plug-in.

The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a refrigerator, gas stovetop (no oven), microwave, coffeemaker, watercooler, toaster, slowcooker, blender and juicer. An iron & ironing board too. All dishes, cutlery, and utensils are included. Vallarta's municipal water is rated perfectly safe but large bottles of water are available via our Manager.

A large archway opens into a spacious bedroom. The bedroom features a huge arched window, plenty of closet space, a clock-radio and in-room safe. All towels and linens are included.

The en-suite bathroom is roomy, attractively tiled and features a shower with a bench seat and an original stained glass window. An electric hairdryer is supplied.

Moderately-priced, uniquely beautiful and conveniently located - why stay anywhere else? Besides the nearby beach, you are three blocks stroll along safe, cobblestoned streets to the lively Olas Altas area. Local grocery stores & services, drugstores, trendy coffeeshops, internet cafes, some of Vallarta's finest dining, live theatre, clubs, and nightlife are all available. You will feel safe and part of our friendly neighbourhood in no time!
