vacation rental description
This 2081 square foot home is ideal for economical trips to the Texas Gulf Coast. In Aransas Pass minutes from the ferry to Port Aransas... Minutes from the water, and "downtown" Aransas Pass... Groceries (normal, not resort priced), moderately priced restaurants, quaint shops, live theatre, and churches. Minutes from Wal-Mart. The climate here is as close to Southern California as you will find, averaging 83 degrees in the summer and around 60 in the winter. We don't guarantee the weather, but it is commonly great. This is fishing and birding paradise, and great for just relaxing. You can venture 10-12 minutes over to the fabulous family beach in Rockport for safer shallow
swimming, restrooms, shaded thatch covers, picnic tables, volleyball nets, playground equipment, and a covered pavilion to have complete shade if you'd like. This beach has exotic birds all around, charming casual to fine seafood restaurants on the water, the Texas Maritime Museum and great fishing. Or go across the high bridge to Corpus Christi to the Texas State Aquarium and the
U.S.S. Lexington Museum, about 30 minutes away. Cross the ferry to the surf in Port Aransas.
