Vacation Rental Description

Private 75-year-old mountain cottage located in beautiful Dingmans 
Ferry...only 1.5 hours from NYC.  Updated and modernized,fireplace, 
screened in front porch the entire width of the home.  Morning 
coffee and papers, afternoon cocktails. Deer, turkey, foxes, bird 
watch from the dining room overlooking the pond on the property.   
Lay in bed and listen to the water flowing down the creek from the 
state land behind the house. The original cottage was built by one 
of the first "transplanted families" in this area back in the 1920s 
and 30s. This cottage is not in a development - it is a private 
residence.  

Vacation Rental Amenities

The house is equipped with on-site wireless access, all cable 
chanels and land line for incoming calls only.  Outdoor grill. Pond, 
stream and forest.

The house will sleep up to six people.  Master bedroom has a queen 
bed with Sealy Posturpedic mattress, second bedroom a full size bed 
and a full size Hide-a-Bed in front of the fireplace.  Both full 
beds have 3" memory foam toppers - very, very, comfortable. All 
cutlery, crockery and appliances available.  

     

Activities and Attractions

The house is located about 15 minutes from Milford, the county seat 
of beautiful Pike Co. Milford was established in 1724 and offers not 
only lots of history, but great restaurants, shopping, antiques as 
well as a supermarket for all necessities. Within 15 minutes of the 
cottage, you will find:
Canoeing and rafting on the Delaware
Thunder Swamp Hiking Trail - miles of incredible views 
Burnt Mill and Maple Run ATV Trails
Snowmobile trails around the State Forest Lands
Waterfalls - Bushkill Falls, Dingmans Falls, Factory Falls, Fulmer 
Falls, Deer Leap Falls, Raymondskill Falls 

Ski areas within 10-20 miles: Shawnee, Tanglewood, Camelback.

Vacation Rental Rates

Weekend rates = $300.00.
Weekly rates = $800.00
Holiday weekends = $400.00
Midweek special - Monday through Thursday - $500.00.
Money orders, certified checks and cash accepted.
Check-in and check-out times negotiable.
Pet fee - $50.00
