Elbow Creek Retreat is the perfect family retreat! This home offers guests the opportunity to stay in Montana at an authentic working ranch. Elbow Creek Retreat offers spectacular views of the Paradise Valley. The Yellowstone River is located a couple of pastures away from the home to the West. There are 3 fishing access points located only a 3-10 min car ride or a 20 minute walk from the house.
Location:
The vacation home has been specifically furnished with local artifacts from the area or from the ranch to allow guests to get the "real" western feel. The home is located at the far end of a five generation working ranch. The ranch is nestled in the foothills of the Absaroka Beartooth Mountains and claims well over 2,500 acres. The Gateway to Yellowstone National Park is located 30 minutes away. Chico Hot Springs, dog sledding, hiking up to Pine Creek Waterfalls and so much more are only minutes from your front door.
Bedrooms and Baths:
There is alot of room to spread out in this home! There are two porches, one patio/ deck, a sunroom, a library, a billiards room and a huge fenced / landscaped yard. There is a King bed in the Master Suite, a Queen bed, 3 bedrooms which have 2 twin beds. There is a pull out full sleeper couch in the library. There are 2 full baths (one adjacent to the Master Suite and the 2nd full bath is located on the top floor between the 2,3,and 4th bedrooms. A half bath is located off of the living room. A third full bath is being built(Jan, 2009) on the lower level of the home
Living Room:
The living room is the central area of the home. It has a "pass through" from the kitchen, a ceiling fan in the rafters and an HDTV entertainment center with SAT TV. For those guests that need to stay "connected" there is wireless Internet access throughout the home. The owners have chosen to lay rich mahogany, cherry wood and fruit wood floors and the dining room and the open staircase to the second floor are rimmed with white/gray marble. The bedrooms have rich Berber carpet and the home stays cool, airy and breezy throughout the summer.
The centerpiece of the home:
The bonus of this vacation home is no neighbors! The hot tub is right in the front yard (next to the patio). Starscapes are unbelievable! Whether you are lounging on the patio or glancing out a window from inside the home, there is a view that cannot be matched anywhere in the state.
Other Amenities:
A landline phone, full laundry room, a pool table and green granite wood burning fireplace, a second HDTV and DVD in the master bedroom...and the list of extras goes on. This home is not the normal new-west vacation home. This vacation home is authentic and allows all of its' guest to capture the real feel of Big Sky Country!

The Elbow Creek Retreat home is newly decorated. The owners have
chosen to lay rich mahogany wood floors through out the house
(except the bedrooms) and the furnishings give all guests an old
west feel.

*A hot tub in the open yard was placed for provide awesome milky way starscape viewing or just take a soak anytime you want ...because your home has NO neighbors and offers you
and your family complete privacy.
*A game room is located next to the pool room and it offers "fun
seekers" an antique wooden chess board, DVDs, western cowboy novels
and hiking maps, and a library that showcases many books written by
local authors.
*If you are interested in a video game, then you
should set up at the game room desk that has been created to serve
as a perfect location for your laptop computer.
*You can catch up on
emails, too. The home has wireless Internet service.

Deb, the owner of My Montana Vacation Rentals, introduces you to
local events and activities. She not only manages the rental
property but she works with the guests to ensure they are prepared
to take adavantage of all of the local attractions.
Let her help you arrange the guides you will need to experience
the best fly fishing, hunting or river rafting available in the valley.
Guests, of course, will enjoy the hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails that
are located in the area.
The quiet town of Livingston is minutes away where one can spend
the day shopping in the many unique shops, art galleries or enjoy a
gourmet meal at one of the many local restaurants.
The Yellowstone National Park offer guides to help you discover
little-visited areas of the park and the guides usually guarantee
you will see a wolf or a grizzly bear sighting during your trip.
