whales migrate. From the master 
bedroom, you wake up and sleep to the sound of waves.

isone of the few homes 
remaining with a strong connection to Malibu’s legendary past. Singers
“Captain and Tenille” and Hollywood-star Jan-Michael Vincent, known
for his role in
the “Airwolf” TV series lived in this magical retreat.

This one-of-a-kind estate on a private road is just a few hundred
yards from Pacific Coast 
Highway and prestigious Broad Beach. You drive down a long private
driveway, pass 
through the gate, and discover an oasis of old Malibu charm,
surrounded by mature 
junipers and California peppertrees. Cool ocean air flows through this
hidden retreat, 
surrounded by lush native plants. 

This charming house is elegantly decorated, with open-beamed ceilings
and lots of  windows and natural light. It is perfect for couples,
families, or
friends seeking a romantic and restful holiday or professionals who
prefer not to stay in a
hotel. It comfortably accommodates six people. There are two adjacent
live-in structures—the
main house and a guesthouse—plus a detached gym.

Ocean-facing patio
Sip your morning coffee on the patio overlooking the ocean, watching
the sunrise as you see dolphins, seagulls, and seals frolic in the
surf. In the evening,
enjoy a cocktail in the six-seat heated Jacuzzi under the lush swaying
palms of a giant
bird-of-paradise tree or watch the sunset under the South African
coral tree. As you dine
outdoors and prepare a gourmet dinner on the gas barbecue, relax and
enjoy the aromas and sensations of invigorating sea air and gaze at
the stars.

Living room
Enjoy the open-beamed ceiling, the wood-burning fireplace handcrafted
with ceramic tiles from the old Malibu Adamson tile factory, a Shabby
Chic sofa, Louis XV
armchairs, and breathtaking views of the ocean and the Malibu
coastline, the surround
sound system and the 27” TV with cable TV, 100+ channels with a DVD
player. Open the
glass doors and fall asleep to the soothing sound of the waves.

Dining area
Enjoy endless views of the ocean, while seated in French provincial
chairs at the 8-ft table handcrafted from the planks of an 18th
century Tennessee cotton-drying
barn. 

Breakfast room
Enjoy a quiet morning in the cozy breakfast room, with custom antique
pine furniture and traditional Cottura, hand-painted ceramic imported
from Italy on the shelves of
the hutch and on the walls.

Gourmet kitchen 
Gaze at the ocean from the fully equipped gourmet kitchen, with a
Sub-Zero refrigerator, a large butcher-block countertop, a dishwasher,
a gas stove with oven, a
full set of copper/stainless pots and chef knives, a microwave oven,
an  expresso
machine, as well as a blender, a juicer, a toaster, and dinnerware for
eight persons.

Master bedroom 
Enjoy the sounds of the surf and garden views from the queen-size bed
or watch TV on the 24” wall-mounted LED screen. Linen, towels, and 2
bathrobes provided.

Second bedroom
The second bedroom is airy and comfortable, with a skylight, a
queen-size bed, and mountain views to the north. Linen, towels, and 2
bathrobes provided.

Bathroom
Relax in the jetted bathtub/shower combination and enjoy the Mexican
ceramic walls, and trompe-l’oeil painting.

Guesthouse
The detached ocean-facing guesthouse is airy and spacious, with six
glass doors facing the ocean and a cathedral ceiling with skylight.
Enjoy the custom
antique pine furniture, the trompe-l’oeil mural painting on the wall,
the queen-size sofa bed,
Mexican Saltillo tiles throughout, bathroom with shower, and the
stacked washer/dryer.
Linens and 2 bathrobes provided. There are curtains across the six
glass doors, for
complete privacy as well as a silent air conditioning with outside
compressor, and gas
heating. 

Gym
Stay fit in the well-equipped modern gym. From the machines, see the
sunrise and watch miles of whitewater! Or watch a DVD on the 24” LCD
screen that can be
seen from all the machines. The machines include a Weslo Cadence TS310
 treadmill, an
Image 9.5 elliptical machine, an IMPEX Competitor weight machine, and
a Proform SR 20
stationery bicycle. With a skylight and two windows, the gym remains
cool, always. There
are also three boogie boards and one 8' surfboard, for guests to enjoy
the legendary Malibu waves.

Garden 
Sip your afternoon tea from the lush, east-facing private garden as
you relax on a replica of the bench where French painter Monnet sat in
his garden in Giverny,
south of Paris.

Backyard and carport
Carport for 2 cars with additional parking space for 6-7 cars and
views of the mountains.

Activities and Attractions

The neighborhood

The house is located in Malibu off Pacific Coast Highway, just north
of Trancas Canyon Road, a few hundred yards from Broad Beach—a
45-minute drive from Los
Angeles International Airport.

Two minutes away, you have the most renowned beaches: Zuma beach,
Broad Beach, Westward beach, La Piedra, Matador, and El Pescador,
where you can
walk, swim, surf, fish, snorkel, or rent gear and scuba dive or kayak.
Lush kelp beds a short 
distance offshore attract dolphins, seals, and whales during migration
season. At low tide, gorgeous 
tide pools await you.  Catch a few waves on a surf board or boogie
board when the tide rolls in. 
At low tide, walk to Paradise Cove and dine at the Malibu Beach Cafe
(a 30-minute walk along the 
beach).

Hiking, surfing, public tennis courts, public swimming pool, beaches,
wildlife viewing, museums, snorkeling, boating, sailing, surfing,
windsurfing, diving,
are all are available nearby.  

How’s Market, a well-stocked supermarket, Starbucks Cafe, a dry
cleaners, post office, and 
lovely restaurants like Sage, Zuma Sushi, Cantina, and world-famous
Neptune’s Net are also minutes 
away.

Ten minutes away, you find casual and fine restaurants for cocktails
and romantic dinners, 
the Malibu movie theater, the historic Adamson House, and shopping. 

You are 20 minutes away from lively Santa Monica and 40 minutes from
Universal studios, 
the Getty museum, L.A. County Museum of Art, the Museum of
Contemporary Art, 
Hollywood, Beverly Hills, downtown Los Angeles, Burbank, and LAX Airport. 

And you are only one hour from Disneyland and beautiful Santa Barbara
with its world-renowned restaurants and wineries.

Two hours away, you can snow ski in the San Bernardino Mountains or
golf in Palm Springs or visit San Diego. 

Vacation Rental Rates

- October-May: $3,000/ week, additional nights $400.00

- June: SPECIAL DISCOUNT JUNE 1-15: $3000/ week, additional nights $420.00
 
- July-September: $4,500/ week; additional nights $650.00
 
- Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter) $3,750/ week
 
- Minimum rental is 3 days, which is half of the weekly rate. You may
stay less, but at the half-week rate only.
 
- $1,000 refundable security deposit
 
- $150 non-refundable cleaning fee
 
- Payment: cashiers check, certified check, or bank transfer

- Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice.
