In the winter, use this amazing home-away-from-home as your base to ski/in and ski/out to all 4 peaks just by walking our the front door with your skis a short walk to the trail that joins the lifts. Or enjoy the snowboarding, cross country, snow shoeing, hiking, rock climbing, sleigh rides, snowmobiling, swimming, tennis, racket ball, yoga, pilates, basketball, workouts, concerts, art shows, antique show, ice sculptures, and skating rink offered in town. 

In the summer, use this luxurious family home that backs up to the national forest as you contemplate golf, hiking, running, fishing, river rafting, horses, tennis, swimming, art shows, Oktoberfest, climbing 6 14000 ft peaks- or just a barbecue on the patio.

THIS EXCITING & WARM HOME is divided into a continuum of levels and suites all-centered on the very grand Great Room where all can meet before branching off to their own activities. All under the same cozy roof.

THE MAIN LEVEL has an open living space that includes the kitchen, the comfortable mountain-view living room, the spacious 10 seating dining room, the bar with stools that swivel in 360 degrees, and the wonderful deck where you, friends and family can enjoy the afternoon sun in the hot tub or barbecue; or the quiet evening glow of the patio fire pit as the sun sets.

THE GREAT ROOM is just few stairs down from the main level, and it can host its own party: Wet bar, pool table, monstrous flat screen TV, surround sound, separate King bedroom and bath; and plenty of room to lounge, sit and ruminate. 

ONE MASTER SUITE is snuggled up the stairs with its King Size bed, private TV and bathroom with double-sinks and sunken tub.

THE OFFICE LOFT is just a few further stairs up from the main level, where faxes, wireless internet, copying, scanning or calling the office can be dispatched; or just cozying up with a good book on the sleeper-sofa can become bliss.

THE FRONT LOWER LEVEL becomes its own enclave with the fabulous KidZone. In it is pure youth-delight: TV, DVD, game-cube, games, private hang-out space, slumber-party potential with twin-top/bottom-queen bunks, daybed, & trundle. A designated KidZone sign separates it from the Queen bedroom down the hall. 

THE REAR LOWER LEVEL has its own entrance from the National Forest, has two deliciously-elegant King Size suites, each with own bath, TV and wonderful quiet privacy.

This property can accommodate a maximum of 14 adults, or 21 total with children. The minimum age limit to rent 25. Guests under the age of 25 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
This property can accommodate a maximum of 4 vehicles. 
4x4 is MANDATORY during any date that snow may occur. 
Ski access is through Peak 9 in skiing out or Peak 10 in skiing back in.
Minimum night stay requirements do apply, and for dates that allow less than a 5 night minimum stay there is a cleaning fee of $375 + tax that will be applied to your rental. 
The refundable damage deposit is $1000.00 and will be collected in advance.

Amazing trip

First COLD Weather vacation. We opted to skip the beach and head to the mountains for our annual family holiday trip. Warriors Retreat could not have been a better choice. Our group included 10 adults, a toddler and an infant. All were accommodated well. Location is great and close to town for those trips to the grocery,restaurants.....and of course the snowboarding/skiing. The property management company was excellent....small problem with hot tub and they were on it! Visited daily to verify it was in working order. We did use the concierge service for a few additional baby items and to put up a Christmas tree. Amy is wonderful and the addition of the tree was great. The game area/pool table was an added bonus.My only comment regarding the home is the 2 lower bedrooms could perhaps be updated with new mattresses and linens. Seem a little tired but overall we couldn't be happier.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers

Everyone was beyond impressed with Warrior's Retreat, the thoughtfulness of all the amenities (laundry soap, shampoo, conditioner, fully stocked kitchen), as well as the space/entertainment. We will return and we will stay with OHA!

Great Stay

Our 2nd stay at Warrior's Retreat (first time in 2011), was even better as it
was 7 nights instead of 5, and we were so familiar with the location. Also, when
we left in 2011, we had several request for improvements and/or repairs (dryer
heater not working properly, need for new refrigerator, and request for more
outside seating). All of these issues have been resolved. The flowers planted
out front made it so inviting, and all of our questions and requests were
answered in a timely manner. Your employing a local property manager, Rebecca
Johnson, has been a very positive addition - she was so nice and helpful! We
will look forward to planning another family reunion there in the future!
Also, I wanted to inquire about getting our security deposit refunded? Please
let me know when this might happen.
