Five Islands Year-Round Cottage in Georgetown

Come relax and play at our 5 Bedroom, 3 Bathroom home overlooking
peaceful and quiet Gott's Cove.

Newly restored year round cottage on 1.7 private waterfront acres at
the end of a private lane in Five Islands, Georgetown. Our home
overlooks Gott's Cove and Sheepscott Bay from a large deck complete
with hot tub for star gazing and relaxation. Swim or kayak from our
dock at high tide, or go clamming at low tide. Watch the Osprey and
Belted Kingfishers as they fly overhead. After your outdoor
adventures, you can shower outdoors while enjoying the view of the
water. Our cottage is a short drive to 766 acre Reid State Park,
with its beautiful beaches and trails (Park Pass provided) and a
short walk to Five Islands Wharf where you can eat your lobster and
ice cream while enjoying what's been called Maine's prettiest working harbor. Locally, there are many conserved trails for walking and a fresh water pond to swim in.
There is a 5 star restaurant about 10 minutes away. Historic Bath and the Maine Maritime Museum are just 20 minutes. Only 45 minutes from LL Bean or Boothbay Harbor!

Cozy and comfortable with plenty to do year round, we offer 5
bedrooms (Master Bedroom and bath on first floor), full kitchen,
which looks out through the 4 season sunroom to scenic Gotts Cove.
We have a private screened-in porch off the Master BR. The hot tub is
outside on the deck off the screen porch. For chilly days, we have a
gas fireplace in the living room. The dining room table comfortably
seats 8. The first floor also includes a full laundry room
(detergent provided). Out on the deck, we have a table and eight
chairs for enjoying your home delivered lobster or steak barbeque from the gas grill!


The lower level is finished with a game room, (ping pong, foosball,
air hockey, and a game table) and a full bath as well.

Upstairs are 4 bedrooms and a full bath. There is one room with a
queen bed, one with a futon, and two rooms with two twin beds each.

No smoking inside or out, and no pets.

Activities abound, dependent upon your preference.nature-lov 766 acre Reid
State Park is very popular with beach-goers, cyclists, hikers, and
bikers. With its two beaches, (Mile and Half-Mile), many
rocks to climb, scenic overlooks and many grills to cook on, hiking
trails etc., there is something for everyone.

For a quiet nature walk, there is a trail through the woods and onto
the rocks overlooking the Sheepscott out to the Atlantic, owned by
the Nature Conservancy which renters are welcome to use. There is a
small beach there as well.

About 15 minutes from historic Bath and the Maine Maritime Museum, 30
minutes from Brunswick and Bowdoin College, 45 min. from Portland
Jetport, 40 minutes from LL Bean. Boothbay Harbor and Pemaquid Point are easy afternoon trips.
