Vacation Rental Description

Cave Creek Cabin sits on 125 acres of bluff and bottom land we call  
Harmony Acres, located on Cave Creek, adjacent to the Gene Rush  
Wildlife Management Area and 5 short miles to the Carver input on  
the Buffalo National River (great canoeing and rafting). This 1840's  
dogtrot-style log cabin from  
Kentucky was recently moved to this secluded spot and lovingly  
restored and modernized for vacation fun and enjoyment of the Ozark  
mountain country found in Newton County, Arkansas.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our smoke-free cabin sleeps 17 people. A full walkout basement with  
3 bunkbeds (5 twins and 1 double) and a full bathroom is a kids  
favorite. There is no phone, but cell reception is good. The remote  
solitude of our secluded cabin is what  
draws people to Cave Creek. There are plenty of board games and a  
DVD/VCR to keep the kids happy. There is no cable or local  
reception, so please bring your favorite movies or watch some of  
ours. We've provided a variety of paperback books for those who like  
a good read. In cooler months, relax in front of the crackling  
fireplace to restore your soul...  
 
We provide linens except for 6 bunkbeds (5 singles and 1 twin),  
cookware, utensils, dishes,  
flatware, microwave, small crockpot, toaster oven, coffee maker,  
toaster, blender and a hot air corn popper (complimentary corn,  
coffee, tea and sugar).  
There is a fullsize outdoor charcoal grill for cookouts. Just bring  
your own fuel, charcoal, firewood and food as Mt. Judea is the  
nearest town and only has a convenience store.

Activities and Attractions

Our breathtaking view of Cave Creek and its beautiful limestone  
cliffs, make sitting on the porch or patio a delight. When you're  
ready for some activity, there is a swimming hole with a sandy beach  
on the creek, or you can fish the stream for small mouth bass and  
perch, (Arkansas licenses can be bought at Mt. Judea and Piercetown  
convenience stores). Hiking, cave exploring, mountain biking, four- 
wheeling and magnificent star gazing are available right on the  
property. The bird watching is great, and you may even be lucky  
enough to see a bald eagle at the right time of year. Elk have been  
sited at Cave Creek and within the Buffalo River Valley.

Vacation Rental Rates

$150 per night for up to 2 people (2 night minimum, 3 night minimum  
over Holidays). 
$12.50 per night for each additional person.  
Infants/toddlers under three are free. 
Pet fee: $35/each. 
 
25% non-refundable deposit to hold dates. Balance due 21 days prior  
to occupancy. 
No refund for cancellations within 21 days of occupancy date. 
Washer/dryer facilities available - $1 to wash, $1.50 to dry.  
Cleaning fee ten or more people: $100. 
$150 refundable damage/security deposit. 
Taxes are 6% Sales + 2% Tourism + 1% Newton County.

Discounts for extended stays over two weeks.
