activities and attractions in Seneca Lake Finger Lakes
Our waterfront area features a long shale beach lined with trees and the clear, cool waters of Seneca Lake. We have a dock and a weed-free swimming area. Many enjoy fishing as well as swimming and boating on the lake.
The cottage is located 5 minutes north of Lodi Point State Marine Park, which has a boat launching ramp and boat slips.
Between the village of Lodi and the town of Watkins Glen is one of the most
beautiful drives in America and about 20 wineries, all offering tastings. There is an excellent French restaurant on the outskirts of the village, as well as an artisanal cheese shop and gelato maker.
Several good restaurants with excellent views of the lake are located within a 20-minute drive. The world-class Corning Glass museum and the Women's Rights National Historical Park are both within easy reach, as is the Waterloo Premium Outlet Mall.
The Finger Lakes National Forest has many walking trails. Cornell University and Ithaca College are half an hour away. The sunsets are unbeatable and the natural beauty of the area has to be seen to be believed.
