The Story Book Cottage is ideally located in the heart of 
Hendersonville only 13 miles to Asheville in a quiet residential 
neighborhood, yet it borders an 11 acre woodlands oasis with a serene 
sense of peace.  Enjoy the best of both worlds: in-town convenience 
and you can wander in the woods right out your back door. 

We lovingly restored this adorable cottage to its original beauty and 
then added extra touches of luxury.  Enjoy the spectacular heart-of-
pine original floors, elegant fireplace mantle with gas logs & remote 
control, deep Kohler jetted bath tub and furniture vanity sink.  
You’ll appreciate the high-end all new kitchen with stainless steel 
appliances & top-of-the-line cookware.   Each bedroom has a beautiful 
view and access through the floor-to-ceiling double French doors to 
the peaceful back deck overlooking the 11 acre woodlands beyond. 

Nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood, you have the convenience 
of in-town living yet the privacy of an 11 acre woodlands out your 
back door.  We think it’s the best of both worlds!  You’re only a 
mile to the charming historic downtown Hendersonville Main Street’s 
shops, galleries, antique stores & restaurants.  Plus it’s a quick 13 
miles to Asheville and 18 miles to the Biltmore Estate. 

Let me take you on a quick tour of the Storybook Cottage to give you 
an idea of how pleased you will be to stay here. 

When you arrive at the Story Book Cottage, a long driveway leads you 
to the cottage set back off the street from the other homes with 
plenty of parking and a comfortable front porch with old-time rocking 
chairs.  Enter the door to a bright sunroom filled with windows 
graced by elegant curtains.  The open wood beam archway joins it to 
the stylish living room.  Enjoy the comfortable plush sofas, graceful 
dining table, HDTV with built-in DVD/VCR for your entertainment, 
movie library, wireless Internet, and to spoil you further, an 
awesome “Hands-on-Technology” iJoy 250 massage chair!  You may never 
want to leave! 

A large breakfast bar opens the living room into the delightful 
kitchen which has been thoughtfully and fully equipped with quality 
cookware to please any chef.  All new maple cabinets, gorgeous 
countertops, new stainless steel appliances are accented by bright 
red KitchenAid cookware & accessories.  You have sharp cooking 
knives, quality silverware, cheerful hand-painted dinnerware, coffee 
grinder and much more!  Eat at the kitchen table and enjoy the view 
out the picture window.  New appliances include a side-by-side 
refrigerator with Ice/Water in the door, oven (cook with gas!), 
microwave, dishwasher and a front-loading washer & dryer set. 

The bedrooms are tastefully furnished, decorated and each with a 
TV/DVD/VCR.  Double French doors open out to the peaceful woodlands, 
a patio table & chairs, and hot tub on the back deck.  Indulge in 
sumptuous 400 count sheets, plush blankets, lovely bed coverings, and 
premium quality mattresses (king and queen).  The master bedroom has 
a sitting area for two and the guest bedroom has a writing desk for 
those notes home.  

The all-new bathroom features a marbleized tile floor & tub-surround, 
a deep Kohler jetted tub, elegant furniture vanity with marble top, 
one-of-a-kind mirror and lovely lighting.  Dry off with plush, soft 
towels provided for your use.

You have central heat and air conditioning to keep you comfortable 
for whatever season you stay with us.  The home heats quickly with 
the gas fireplace if you prefer.

numerous courses including Jack Nicholas newly designed world class 
championship golf course, The Cliffs, There is skiing, white water 
rafting, you name it! Check out the new Fun Depot for a wealth of 
indoor fun, Sightseeing along the Blue Ridge Parkway is outstanding 
with many hiking trails & waterfalls along the way, These ancient 
Appalachian Mountains is home to mountain music & dancing, Several 
times a week you can test your dancing shoes at Contra Dancing with

Mid-week nightly rate:  $129  (Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs);
Week-end nightly rate:  $149  (Fri, Sat, Sun)

Weekly Rate (Jan/Feb/March/April/Sept/Nov/Dec/except holidays): $700
Weekly Rate (May/June/July/Aug/Oct/except holidays): $850
Week Holiday (Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years):  $950

Add 11% tax and one-time $55 cleaning fee 

Pets must be preapproved at time of reservation.  There is a $15/night per pet rent.

Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights depending on time of year.
Minimum Stay may be waived for last minute bookings.
