Casita Bonita is a beautiful romantic cabin in Munds Park, Arizona, just 20 minutes south of Flagstaff. This romantic two bedroom, two bath property is located in the pines just one block from the forest and one mile from the Pinewood Golf Course. Clearstory windows in the great room look out on trees on all sides and there is a stone fireplace. Cabin sleeps six people comfortably. The master bedroom has a high quality California King bed and spacious, adjacent private master bath has two sinks. Guest bedroom has a comfortable Queen bed and the great room has a leather Queen sleeper sofa. The home is updated with Victorian bronze hardware, charming decor and quality furnishings from both Pier 1 and Robb & Stuckey.

Casita Bonita has a large deck that wraps around the entire cabin, with two porch swings and three sets of patio furniture. One tenant calls this cabin The Treehouse. Hang the hammock up under a tree, play some horseshoes, build a fire in the firepit outside, or go inside, throw a log on the fire and snuggle up with a book and a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Provided for your entertainment: Wireless router and DSL provided for Internet access, three TVs with Direct TV cable, 46" HDTV with Blue Ray, and VCR, more than 50 movies, board games, poker chips and leather-top game table, toys, puzzles, and a stereo/CD player with cable for iPod hookup. The cabin has a full-size Weber propane BBQ. Kitchen is completely equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, crockpot, toaster, cookware and dishes. Dining table seats 8. All bedding/linens provided for bedrooms, bath, kitchen, and dining. Paper goods, soaps, coffee, tea and condiments are stocked for your use. The cabin has air conditioning, extremely efficient central heat, ceiling fans in every room, and there is a full-size washer and dryer. Pull your car and trailer right in the driveway to unload. The rustic storage area under the front deck is perfect for storing snowboards or skiis. Casita Bonita is absolutely charming. You will feel right at home. Casita Bonita is on a quiet street with numerous trees. At the end of the street you can access the Coconino County forest and trails for hiking, cycling, ATV use or cross-country skiing. Munds Park is at an elevation of about 7000 feet. Temperatures typically are 20 to 30 degrees cooler than in the valley. There is a small lake for fishing. Just sit at Casita Bonita and enjoy the peace and quiet. Recreational activities include:
- Play golf at Pinewood Country Club
- Hit the trails with a friend, a mountain bike or an ATV
- Visit the incredible Grand Canyon National Park (approx. 100 miles away)
- Enjoy Sedona's spectacular red rocks, hiking, shopping, restaurants, and art galleries (approx. 40 miles)
- Go to Flagstaff for a concert, go to the theatre, the museum or the observatory (approx. 20 miles)
- Go skiing or snowboarding at Arizona Snowbowl (approx. 27 miles)

Munds Park is located 90 miles north of Phoenix, 19 miles south of Flagstaff and 30 miles northeast of Sedona's beautiful red rock formations. Sedona and Flagstaff have a wide variety of terrific restaurants. Flagstaff also has an observatory, several museums,hiking trails and a ski area. There are ATV,ski and snowboard rental businesses located nearby. Arizona Snowbowl ski area is 27 miles north, just outside of Flagstaff.

Regular nightly rate: $160/night (two night minimum) or $975/week.
Holiday weekends/Summer rate: $1200/week, $200/night (three night minimum)
Weekly reservations are preferred May through August. Check in/out days are usually Sunday and Friday unless special arrangements have been made with the owner.
Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays generally require a four night minimum stay.
Payment in full is required at time of reservation. Major credit cards accepted (2.5% fee), but personal checks are preferred.
$85 cleaning fee (non-refundable)
$200 security deposit (fully refundable)
$50 snow removal fee (if required for access)
Dogs are permitted with prior approval
The tenant is responsible for leaving the property in good condition.
A cleaning service will provide the basic cleaning of the cabin, will wash the linens and make up the beds. (The tenant is responsible for washing and putting away his/her own dishes.) The property will be inspected promptly after the tenant's departure and the security deposit will be refunded within seven business days. Casita Bonita is strictly a non-smoking property. Smoking is allowed OUTSIDE on the rear patio only. Cats are not allowed under any circumstances.
