The house has a wrap-around balcony, a deck, spacious rooms with an abundance of
natural light, and custom designed bathrooms. The combined kitchen/dining room is
large and opens out directly to the garden.
Located 40 meters from a stunning tidal bay (see photos), you'll be able to fish for your
own crabs or go for a tonic swim. The bay is also great for taking out the row boat
available for you to use. If you value peace and quiet, you'll appreciate that the
house is secluded and accessed by a private lane. If you enjoy hikes, you can take the trail
up to nearby Mt Young and its 360 view. If you like dining outside, relaxing, and watching
the sun set, you can enjoy doing so in the large natural garden that slopes down to a
private beach. We love watching the herons, and other wildlife while sitting outside.
On the other side of the house, you will find pastures with horses and cows, an alpaca
farm, small lakes, and rolling hills. WIFI Internet available.

A 15 minute drive to shopping areas. Friday Harbor, a small friendly town of 5000
inhabitants, offers a cinema, a theater, boutiques, supermarkets and art galleries, as well a
health club, spas, a medical center and an impressive public library.

Whale watching cruises, kayak tours, boat rental (power and sail), scuba-diving, bicycling San
Juan or the 3 other main islands (Orcas, Lopez and Shaw). Also golfing, biplane and seaplane
rides. And of course visiting the oyster farm, the lavender farm, the alpaca farm...

On the mainland, day trips of white water rafting, mountaineering on Mt Baker glacier and
skiing in Whistler (next site for the Olympics games).

April-June and September-October: $1000 per week
