Located in Villas, NJ
Cozy and comfortable, our newly renovated beach cottage is just 1 ½
blocks from the Bay! Walk to the beach and watch the spectacular
sunsets every evening. The cottage is located just 10 minutes
north of Cape May in a quiet neighborhood perfect for families or
couples. Large tree filled, fenced yard… pick up some fresh fish
from the dock and you’ve got yourself the perfect BBQ. We've just
added a beautiful new deck off the back of the house! Stay here and
enjoy the best of Cape May without the congestion or the cost.
The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath. It sleeps a maximum of 5 guests.
The back bedroom has a queen bed and the front bedroom has a trundle that
opens to a king. The four season sun porch has a full size futon.
The cottage was just fully renovated and has a completely new
kitchen with stainless steel and black appliances. The living room
has comfy chairs and a leather sofa. There is a TV and DVD player
in the living room and the back bedroom. We know you’ll enjoy your
surroundings.
Please visit our website (wwwcottagesatcapemaycom) for pictures and
details!
(As is customary with most Cape May rentals, pillows, comforters and
blankets are provided, but linens and towels are not. You should
bring your own bed linens and towels, or if you prefer we can
introduce you to a linen company that rents sheets, towels, etc. by
the week. They’ll even deliver right to the door if you desire!)

activities and attractions in Cape May New Jersey
Walk to the Bay beach and watch the sandpipers run up and down the
sand, or flip a few horseshoe crabs that have lost their way. Swim
or sun or even bring your rod & reel and fish right from the beach.
Head in to Cape May if you wish to swim at the guarded beaches.
**Enjoy the use of four Cape May beach tags during your stay!**
Feel like shopping? Hop in the car and in 10 minutes you’ll find
yourself in downtown Cape May where you can check out the Washington
Street Mall or the beach shops. While there take in a historic
house tour, rent bikes, take a carriage ride or simply stroll and
enjoy the scenery. Like antiquing? Hop back in the car and you’re
sure to find plenty.
Getting hungry? Check out any one of Cape May’s plentiful
restaurants. An old favorite is the Lobster House, enjoy cocktails
on the schooner out back while waiting for your table. The Mad
Batter serves up a wonderful brunch on their front porch. The Blue
Pig at Congress Hall has great outdoor seating. And if you feel
like splurging, make a reservation (before you come!) for Tisha’s
which is directly on the main beach in Cape May. The food is
fabulous, and it’s a BYOB so bring your favorite bottle of wine.
Closer to the cottage, and right on the Bay is Harpoon Henry’s.
This popular local spot is great place to grab a quick lunch. Or
better yet, grab a chair on the deck, order a cocktail and watch the
sunset over the Bay. It can be breathtaking and we think it’s a
fantastic way to spend an evening at the shore!
For the serious golfer in the group, you’ll find several challenging
golf courses within a half hour drive. For the not so serious
golfer, you’ll find a driving range and a par 3 course just down the
road from the cottage. And for the miniature golfers, there are a
couple of local places and also a few in Cape May.
Birdwatchers and nature lovers you are in paradise here… but you
already know that! Enjoy the Cape May Bird Observatories, Cape May
Point State Park, Higbee Beach, Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge (Cape
May Meadows), Nummy Island, Stone Harbor Point, Avalon Seawatch, and
Belleplain State Forest.
Party boats, dolphin & whale watching tours, charter fishing
excursions and boat rentals are just a short drive from the
cottage. Or how about an afternoon at the Cape May Zoo, Historic
Cold Spring Village or touring the local lighthouses? The
possibilities are endless!
And don’t forget about Wildwood! 15 minutes and you’ll be on the
boards enjoying all that the shore has to offer including amusement
rides and water parks.
