Surfing, visit the Park at the entrance to Beach Road where there are firepits for bon fires at night.  There they rent bikes, there is a basketball court. Ride bikes over to the Dana Point Marina where there are several wonderful restaurants
and shops. Disneyland about 45 minutes going North to Anaheim and
Sea Worldabout 45 minutes going South to San Diego

Pros: Oceanfront
Cons: No air conditioning! Train comes through this complex ALL the time/early morning until midnight! Beach is all rock in front of this unit and the few to each side...No direct access to beach from balony - must exit front and go down and around the unit. This unit was not very clean - bedding was very basic/minimal. No wash cloths! Checked in & 6 lightbulbs out! One remote didn't have batteries that worked. Towel rack fell off wall when I hung a bathtowel on it. Lighting in unit is horrible - forget trying to read at night...This unit needs a deep cleaning & new set of linens-towels/sheets for ALL beds. Kitchen needs to be better stocked with basics. One chaise lounge on balcony + table/4 chairs...The place needs some TLC for sure -- The unit was very simple in decor, but that would be just fine had it been clean - esp. kitchen and bathrooms. I have pics! I wouldn't stay here again.

Owners response: We are saddened by this review of our Beach condo. We do apologize and had they called to report this we would have sent a cleaning Lady immediately. New linens have been added already. It is apparent that, when you enter Beach Road and cross over the railroad tracks, that you are aware that the commuter train runs by the back of the home. Also,you must realize that everyones level of cleanliness is different. However, I appreciate the review and strive to do our very best in the future.
