beautiful historic Merida. Very safe neighborhood,  also villa is walled and gated..  Secluded  
private beach, year-round warm, shallow ocean swimming, private pool,  terraces for entertaining or  
relaxing. 15 minutes to world-class golf and windsurfing.  Horseback riding.  Fishing.  Deep  
sea fishing.  Walking distance to many restaurants and Malecon [boardwalk]   
 
Note: Villa de la Luz is 5 minutes from hospital, dentist, vet, Walmart, and all modern services, and  
located in a wonderful neighborhood.  If you visit the Yucatan, you will discover that Ishmael Garcia  
is the very nicest neighborhood in Progreso, and that Progreso is by far THE BEST of the beach towns   
- Chelem and Chuburna and Telchac, etc. are  somewhat isolated, run-down in parts, and without  
services, restaurants, city water or phones, so people have to drive to Progreso for those amenities.   
If you visit and compare, you will see that Villa de la Luz is by far the nicest and best rental  
property in Progeso

Vacation Rental Rates

$850-$1150 weekly, all-inclusive* 
Apr. 15 -June 15 and Sept 1.-Dec. 5 -  $850.00 weekly 
Dec. 5-Apr. 15, Semana Santa, Easter, July-Aug.  $1,150 weekly 
* note:  many local rentals charge extra for use of air conditioners, maid service, and/or booking  
fees.  At Villa de la Luz, our rates are all-inclusive of such items.  Our rates shown, however, are  
for 3 huge bedrooms, a fourth bedroom with separate entrance is also available for an additional  
$180.00 weekly.
