Vacation Rental Description

An elegant home on 10 acres of lake front property on Cobbossee Lake.
10 miles from Augusta.
If you are looking for an absolute quiet surrounding and beauty with 
unlimited privacy, this is the place.
The house has 1440 sq.ft. on the first floor with 10 ft. ceilings and 1296 sq.ft. on the second 
floor with cathedral ceilings.
Built in 1996 under architectural design, the house offers designer 
tiles downstairs and hardwood floors upstairs, creating a warm 
ambiance. Woodstove downstairs as well in master bedroom give that 
extra warmth on a chilly evening.
High ceilings and high windows bring the outdoors inside.
The master bedroom has its own private quarters.
The house is furnished with English antiques, Thomas Moser and 
Green Design cherry wood furniture.

There is abundant wildlife to view in the surrounding gardens.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Private sandy beach with 1500 feet of totally secluded shore front. 
You can either walk into the lake to swim or dive from the dock. The 
beach is very shallow and ideal for small children to play in the 
water.
Canoe, paddles and life vests are included for your use. There is a 
35 feet long dock with ladder to dive off. The lake is 10 miles long 
with many islands to explore.
Also available is an outdoor cooking/camp fire pit.

Wooden garden furniture and gas grill on the spacious deck.

If you want to play the chef, the home is fully equipped with a 
modern large family kitchen.

As the owner lives here several months of the year, there are books 
and a large classical/jazz CD collection to be played on an 
impressive sound system throughout the house.
Wireless broadband internet connection throughout the house and deck 
as well.
Flat 32" TV hooked on DishNetwork.
Den with TV/video and CD/Radio set. Pooltable.

Activities and Attractions

Fishing, swimming and boating in crystal clear, warm water.
Bird watching, as loons and ospreys.
Hiking in the Camden Hills State Park, at one hour drive, so is the 
Ocean.
Walking in Vaughn's woods in Hallowell is 15 minutes away. 
Portland is 1 hour away.

Vacation Rental Rates

$2,450.-- per week in June and September
$3,150.-- per week in July and August 
$2,650.-- per week in October
$2,000.-- per week in November and December
$3,300.-- X-MAS or New Years Eve week.

The State of Maine has a 7% sales tax.

Weeks are from Saturday 5.00 PM to Saturday noon.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the rate will confirm your 
reservation, the balance is due one month prior to your arrival.
Refundable security deposit of $600.-- and cleaning fee of $200.-- 
are required. The security deposit will be mailed to you after 
inspection of the house.
