Vacation Rental Description

Enjoy two nights, a week, or longer in this spacious (3000 square foot) home in Santa Barbara's  
historic Mission Canyon adjacent to year-round Mission Creek. This pectacular home is surrounded by  
a one acre garden of ferns, coastal live oak trees, and redwoods; is next door to the Santa Barbara  
Botanic Gardens, several hiking and bike trails; and is five minutes to numerous historic and  
cultural attractions such as the Santa Barbara Mission (Queen of the Missions), Museum of Natural  
History and others.  The renound beaches of Santa Barbara are only a 15 minute drive.  Wine country  
in the Santa Ynez Valley is only a scenic 30 minute drive over the San Marcos Pass. 
 
Our Mission Creek Vacation Retreat offers all of the serenity of a mountain cabin while being only  
10 minutes to downtown Santa Barbara and its renowned beaches. Enjoy an afternoon barbeque on the  
patio, morning strolls through its gardens and koi pond, and indulge yourself in the private spa off  
the master bedroom. This rental is adjacent to a three acre private garden that is also available  
for rent for activities such as weddings, reunions, retreats, etc. The retreat features sleeping  
accommodations up to 12 (one king, two queen, two full sized beds and one queen sized convertible  
futon - two air mattrices are also available), three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a private and  
intimate master suite with sitting area, walk-in closet, and a “birds nest” spa on the balcony  
terrace.  The kitchen is bright and spacious with lots of counter space, double sinks, oven,  
icrowave, toaster, refrigerator/freezer with icemaker.  The living room is warm and cozy with a  
stone wood burning fireplace with gas starter, television and entertainment center, and large  
picture windows  
overlooking the gardens and koi pond.  The large recreation room  
contains a large screen television, entertainment center, table  
tennis, a comfortable sectional couch, and a cozy sun room – the  
perfect place to entertain a large group. 
 
Maid service is provided once a week, and is available more frequently as an  
option.

Three televisions, cable tv, two stereo systems, dishwasher,  
microwave, icemaker, private jucuzzi, one acre wooded garden with  
ponds, adjacent to Mission Creek, telephone with unlimited domestic  
long distance calls, computer with wireless broadband internet  
connection, many others.

Activities and Attractions

Access to 25m swimming pool, tennis courts, and exercise room three  
blocks from house (optional: $15/adult/day guest entry fee). 
Adjacent to the Santa Barbara Botanic Gardens, 1/2mi to Santa  
Barbara Mission and Museum of Natural History.  15 minutes to  
beaches and downtown Santa Barbara.

Vacation Rental Rates

May-September:  $2,000/3 days    $4,000/wk 
October-April:  $1,750/3 days    $3,500/wk 
 
Special rates apply for Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years, Labor  
Day Weekend, Memorial Day Weekend, and Independence Day Week.
