Vacation Rental Description

This quiet, three bedroom, one full bath lake home is located on the  
beautiful sandy beaches of Grindstone Lake's Southeast shore. The  
view from the living room / dining room is spectacular. 110 feet of  
sandy level shoreline and the best swimming on Grindstone. The water  
depth at 150 feet from the shoreline is aproximately 3-4 feet deep,  
with a soft, weed free sand bottom. There is no abrupt drop off. My  
father built this lake home when my brothers and I were very small.  
He wanted safe swimming for his kids. The wooded back yard provides  
privacy. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

There are three bedrooms. The main bedroom has two full size beds.  
The other two bedrooms have a full size bed in each room. The  
sleeper/sofa folds out into a full size bed as well. The bathroom  
has a shower / tub with excellent water pressure. The kitchen  
features a newer refridgerator / freezer, a recent glass top stove  
and oven for those late night frozen pizzas, a microwave, toaster,  
cofee maker. An in kitchen knotty pine bar will  
seat 2-4. The dining area is adjacent to the living room and  
kitchen. Enjoy full lake and shoreline views while you dine or  
recline in the two large recliners.  The  
walls are all knoty pine. The floors are all resilient tile with  
area rugs. There is a color TV, DVD player, radio and a telephone  
with answering  
machine. There is a picnic table and fire pit. There is a boat dock.  
Water depth at the end of the 45'  
dock is aproximately 2 feet, nice, soft sand and crystal clear  
water. 

Activities and Attractions

Watching wildlife, such as Deer, Bald Eagle, Black Bear and Blue  
Heron. Great fishing for panfish, Musky, Northern, Walleye, Bass and  
Catfish. Swimming! Fine dining on Grindstone lake and immediate area  
include the Lakeview resturaunt, Tony's Fireside, The Northwoods Inn  
(Margaretaville) Famous Daves Bar-B-Q, Cooper's Restaurant, Coop's  
Pizza, Karbs, The Angler, The Blue Heron, The Lakefront, Trailways  
Inn, The Hideout (Al Capone's former Northwoods Retreat) and more.  
You can play golf on one of Hayward's great courses. We are only  
four miles from the LCO Casino. You can ride the go-carts, play putt- 
putt golf. See the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame or attend a  
Lumber Jack show. You can visit one of the area's Wildlife Museums,  
go Horseback Riding or shop till you drop.  

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates are $650.00 per week for two adults, and $75.00 per person  
extra. Important! If your party is all adults, we will allow a  
maximum of 5 occupants. We will allow up to 8 occupants if 4 of the  
occupants are 12 years old or under.(4 adults and 4 kids 12 or under) 
Contact us for your needs.  
 
We require full payment 30 days in advance of the reservation start  
date. If you cancel a reservation within 30 days before the  
reservation start date, you will lose lose $250.00 of your payment.
