Twin Gables in Sarasota

Twin Gables Cottage is located in the heart of Sarasota Florida, just a couple of blocks from Sarasota Bay in the historic "West of Trail" neighborhood of Bungalow Hill.   The cottage is peacefully situated in a neighborhood known for its quaint, tree lined streets, yet just a few minutes walk or bike ride to the Selby Botanical Gardens, Sarasota Bayfront Park and all the amenities of downtown Sarasota.   The beach on Siesta Key, rated top ten in the country by Travel Channel, is a short car ride away.   Other readily accessible cultural amenities include the Ringling Museum and the Sarasota Opera.  Plus, spring training, Major League Baseball!  After a day at the beach,  enjoy a drink on the front porch of Twin Gables Cottage, built in 1925 in the American Bungalow style.    

Recently fully renovated, Twin Gables combines the best of old and new, including a fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. Tastefully decorated with original art and comfortably furnished, Twin Gables Cottage contains three spacious bedrooms and two full baths, living room, dining room, laundry room and eat in kitchen.  

The living room boasts a 1920's period fireplace.  There is a large comfortable sofa and chairs for relaxing, reading or watching television.  The TV Console contains a TV, DVD Player, DVDs, books and games.  Twin Gables Cottage provides high speed Wireless Internet Service.  The dining room has original double sided bookcases.  Glimmering cherry wood floors and high ceilings run through the living, dining and kitchen with tile in the laundry and first floor bath.   Two sets of French doors lead to the ample fully screened front porch.  The oversized backyard patio with dining for six, is  nestled under several large shade trees.  

The second floor is fully carpeted and has three bedrooms:  a Master with a king temperfoam bed, and two additional spacious bedrooms each, with queen temperfoam beds.  The 2nd floor also has a large tiled full bath with double sinks, linen closet and full tub and shower.   

As the sun goes down, stroll to Bayfront Park to catch the magnificent sunsets, then head to the restaurants and shops on Main Street or venture further within West of Trail to the boutiques and eateries near Morton's Market.  If you like the idea of combining the best beaches with charming atmosphere and the readily accessible cultural, aquatic and gastronomic amenities of historic Sarasota, Twin Gables Cottage is the perfect vacation accommodation for you. Lovely Historic home located in the "Heart" of Sarasota, on a quiet, dead end street near Hudsons Bayou. Twin Gables combines the charm of a historic home with the ammenities of a new home. Walk to BayFront Park, Morton's Market, Selby Gardens, Down Town Sarasota and Burns Court. We are a short drive to Siesta Key, Lido Key and Armand's Circle.
We have a Master Bedroom with a King Temperpedic Bed, the 2nd Bedroom has a Queen Temperpedic Bed, the third bedroom has a trundle bed with two twins that can also be made into a King bed. All the linen is of high thread count cotten with micro fiber blankets and fluffy comforters. Baths are stocked with thick white towells. Weekly Rates for Twin Gables:
$1,800 per week plus Florida State and Local  Rental Taxes at 12%. $400 security deposit. Monthly rates upon request.
