Steps to the beach, Vast Ocean View, Stunning Architecture in La Jolla

Believe what you see in the photos. We arrived with our three children and were instantly in love with the home. The garage is stocked with beach chairs, a kayak, a few beach toys that can be used at Windandsea beach, which is less than a block away.
The beds were comfortable, the auto-retractable blinds were a nice touch and the second-floor laundry was priceless.
The village is in walking distance, although we typically drove. Don't miss breakfast at the cottage and a cupcake at Cups. Vons is just down the street for groceries and the owner has conveniently left a Vons rewards card for discounts on the groceries.
Our favorite place within this home was the roof. Watch the surfers, listen to the nighttime beach band, or just soak up the sun. We saw the sights, but the kids were always happy to return and hang out on the roof!

Very close to the Windandsea beach for those who love the beach. If you haven't seen it, it is a great beach.

You have great views and incredible sunsets from the third story deck that is serviced by an elevator with a butler's cart, making it easy to take food and drinks upstairs. There is a dining table for eight on the top deck, plenty of seating and a grille for those so inclined. There is a study/family room with a big screen TV in the room in case part of the group wants to catch some TV.

The second floor contains a fabulous master with a very large master bath and closet plus its own balcony. The second floor has two additional bedroom suites with plenty of closet space and their own balconies. There is also a laundry on that floor.

the first floor has a open family room/ kitchen/ dinning area that has all the amenities and features you could ask for. The kitchen has everything you need for those inclined to cook. The living room and outdoors deck table on the first floor are bonuses. The first floor also has a half bath as well as the fourth bedroom suite.

This is a great home for a couples' retreat or for a family outing. it is well decorated, well cared for and very well designed. Part of our family rented a another home that same week. They paid the same as we did per day, and every time they came to visit they were green with envy. Rental homes like this are hard to find.

A couple more items that were notable included the two car garage which is a real bonus given the parking issues that can occur near the beach. The garage has a one person kyack, boogie boards and bycycles for the sports oriented.

If you stay here, you won't be dissappointed. The owner was great to work with.

Awesome Windan Sea Surf home

The home is AMAZING. Right off the pages of Beautiful Homes Magazine. The chefs kitchen is a cooks delight. The top floor entertainment area is fantastic. Gas BBQ, large sunning area with a full view of Windan Sea Surf Beach. Every room is equipped with great beds and bedding. The owner was like having a concierge for the property. She made sure we knew everything about the home and area before our stay. She also was in touch via phone at our arrival to answer any questions we had. Can't wait to go back
