vacation rental description

Enjoy a wonderful, tastefully, newly renovated 1890s Victorian house in the historic
Lanesville section of Gloucester.
There are water views of Ipswich Bay with some of the best sunsets on the east coast.
Cross the street and pass four
houses and you are at picturesque Lanes Cove. This area is truly an artist's paradise.
The house is set back from the street and up a small grade. There is plenty of parking
and a large front yard. The
back yard is equally large and bordered by woods. Walk to nearby lovely beach of Plum
Cove for a sheltered evening
swim. The conservation land 250 yards away is great for walks, hiking, and mountain
biking. The rocky granite
shoreline three minutes walk from the house overlooks Ipswich Bay. The neighborhood is
very relaxed and friendly.
Explore Rockport and the Halibut Point Reservation which are within 3 miles; Gloucester
center, Good Harbor and
Wingearsheek Beaches, and much, much more all within 5 miles.
Weeks are available throughout the summer. Monthly rates are also available.
