Summer is over and now it is time to think about that winter vacation. It is close to all the ski areas -Squaw Valley, Alpine and North Star. Relax apres ski by the enormous fireplace or in the steam shower.

Summer or winter, it is like Paradise on Earth to sit on the deck with a glass of wine and watch the boats on the lake and look across the lake at the snowcapped mountains.

This custom designed Swedish Chalet in North Lake Tahoe's prestigious
"Dollar Point" is a wonderful Family vacation home. Kids toys and
games available. The large kitchen
features pine cabinets and is adjacent to the spacious living/dining
area with a huge lovely wood burning/gas fireplace with lots of
seating. Bring the kids and enjoy the large deck and expansive
lakeviews. Pet friendly. Handicap access.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking utensils you need and plenty of staples and paper products.
and pretty European dishes and glassware. You will be able to set a
nice table in the dining room or enjoy going out to one of the many
fine restaurants in the area. In addition to the traditional cooktop,
there is a Jenn-Air with griddle and grill and a trash compactor to
ease the chores. Instant hot water for your quick cup of tea!

One of the bathrooms has a very popular steam shower and another
all-tile bath is brand new. Down comforters on beds. Note: two brand new handcrafted pine twin beds on loft.  Huge picture
windows for the fantastic view, high 18 foot beamed ceilings. The
ambiance and feeling in this home is the best! Our family uses it for
vacations and absolutely loves it! DSL wireless for your convenience.

The amenities include: Walking distance to the private beach with
swim area, restrooms and picnic area: long pier for suntanning,
boating and fishing. Also a short walk to the Olympic swimming pool,
BBQ and play area and tennis courts - a favorite for locals and
vacationers!

with 4 barstools at dining bar.

Summer: Huge pool withing walking distance,lifeguard and playground,
picnic area with BBQs. Horseshoes, new Bocce ball  and Shuffleboard. Friday fun and
games for the kids! Tennis courts with clinics. Private sandy
beach with long pier, boating,and fishing. BBQ area and volleyball.
Other summer activities: sailing, water-skiing, windsurfing,
para-sailing, jet skiing, river rafting down the Truckee river, hiking,
kayaking, biking, rock climbing,horseback-riding. A golfer's true
paradise with many scenic and challenging courses.
Winter: A short drive to Squaw Valley (1960 Olympics), Alpine Meadows
or NorthStar for the best skiing anywhere. Nordic Ski Center nearby
for the cross-country enthusiast Also snowshoe trails and snowmobiling.

Normally $450/night, $500 holidays and some special slow months for $350/night.  Rate fluctuates depending on # of people and time of year.

Departure clean $250 per rental (not included in rates) including linens . $50 per dog.
$300 deposit, will be cashed and refunded after departure on
verification of premises.

Dates: Year round except Christmas

SKI LEASE  January through March or April,  please inquire about our reasonable rates.  Power and gas utilities are paid by tenant.
