Cayuga Cottage at Hog Back Gully in Cayuga Lake

Great time to be at the lake for fishing, boating, hiking, biking, fall foliage, antiquing, winery tours, etc...

Our family-owned cottage, affectionately known as the Gully Cottage,
is on the West Shore of Cayuga Lake in New York's Finger Lakes.
The drive-to cottage, with beautiful views of the lake, is on its own
private beach with dock, surrounded by 50+ acres of our woodlands and
orchards. Boat mooring usually available.
The Gully Cottage accommodates 2-8, with master bedroom (queen bed)
and bunk room (two sets of twin bunk beds).  Full bath with separate
tub/shower room. Comfortable living area with large windows, Franklin
wood stove, plus additional sitting/sleeping alcove with daybed (2 twins
or 1 king). Dining area with open bar/counter for easy access to
kitchen; French doors to outside picnic/BBQ area, with large charcoal
grill, and beach. Well-equipped kitchen includes coffeemakers, toaster,
microwave, blender, mixer, etc. and extra refrigerator on screened back
porch.

Pets are welcome to vacation with you (with advance permission).
No smoking inside cottage.

Ideal location in the heart of the Finger Lakes where you can enjoy
a multitude of outdoor activities - swimming, boating, great fishing
(spring/summer/fall - see snapshot above from September), hiking
biking, golf, observing abundant wildlife, to name a few. Or just
relax on the beach with friends or a good book.

10 miles north of Ithaca - near Cornell University and Ithaca College,
on the Cayuga/Seneca Wine Trail, close to four state parks, and just
two miles from Taughannock Falls State Park and its famous 212 ft.
waterfall. Waterfalls abound in the area and it's a pretty walk to
Hog Back Falls in our family woods, after which our summer camp
was named.

2009 season - MAY 1 to NOVEMBER 8 - maximum 8 people.

2009 prime season rate is $975/week for up to 6 people; 1-2 additional guests at $75/person/week.  Rates DISCOUNTED for OCTOBER 2009.
Usually Saturday to Saturday -- other schedule arrangements and discounts available in October.  Call or Email for details.

Security/cleaning deposit is fully refundable if there is no unusual damage and you are responsible for cleaning prior to departure, leaving cottage clean as on arrival.
