Our Hagar House is a large home within a mile of Lake Michigan beaches for weekly and off-season long weekend rentals. Hagar Shores, a portion of Coloma close to Lake Michigan, is a collection of cottages surrounded by large Oaks and Maples in a beautiful, rustic and peaceful setting. Located along M63 between St. Joseph and South Haven, Hagar Shores is the perfect getaway to combine fun and relaxation. Whether planning a reasonable family getaway, trip to Michigan’s wine country or golf excursion, Hagar Shores is a great setting and Our Hagar House is a welcoming home base.

Rentals are limited to 13 occupants. Discounted rates available for small groups (6 or less).

Hagar Shores has beautiful beach areas, parks, restaurants and entertainment. Coloma was wonderful charm and offers dining, entertainment and recreation. The towns of St Joseph 10 minutes south and South Haven 15 minutes north also make wonderful dining and shopping destinations and offer many summertime festivals and shows. Further down the shore you will find the New Buffalo area with the outstanding Four Winds Casino about 30 minutes away. Area amenities include:

Hagar Park Beach is a quick 2 minute drive from the house and is a clean and beautiful beach and park. Amenities include a beautiful sand beach, large playset, swings, picnic tables and grills, and plentiful free parking. Leashed dogs allowed. Located off M63 just south of the Hagar Shores I-196 exit.

Roadside Park is a small drive up parking area 1 mile (2 minutes) north of the house. The small beach is a quiet area with limited (free) parking and sand trail to the beach, perfect for guests who have difficulty with stairs. Leashed dogs allowed. Located of M63 just north of the Hagar Shores I-196 exit.

Full week or multi-week rentals preferred for the peak months of July and August -Check-In on Saturdays at 3pm and Check-Out the following Saturday by 10am.

Discounted rate available to small groups (6 or less) - please inquire.  A cleaning fee of $100 and State of Michigan 6% tax will also be added to the rental price. A $300 refundable security deposit is also required.

*Special rates will apply for PGA tour weeks in May, please ask for a quote.

Pets -With prior approval we allow dogs only at a rate of $150 per dog.  Our pet terms can be found in our rental agreement.  Sorry we do not allow cats.
