The Island Beach House is the IDEAL place for beach lovers and fisherman alike, as well as those who enjoy watching freighters, tall ships, yachts and a whole variety of boats and watercraft go by.... even an occasional cruise ship - right in front of the house!  It's always a great place for simply taking in the view, some sunshine and maybe a little breeze.

House Detail

The Island Beach House is attractively decorated with a contemporary, tropical flair and casual atmosphere ... It is perfectly situated on South Channel -  the ONLY channel with freighters passing by, some as long as 1,000 feet!

This unique waterfront property offers both a sandy beach and a grassy picnic area at the upper edge -- complete with beach chairs.  A rare find, since there is no public beach on the island! There is also a 2-person swing near the water.

The deck spans the entire front of the house and offers plenty of opportunity for relaxing, tanning, lounging and entertaining.  Spend time grilling while you enjoy music via outdoor speakers and of course, take advantage of viewing a variety of watercraft of varying size and proportion as they pass by.  Deck furniture is provided along with the grill and propane.

Once inside the house, you will find a spacious, open floor plan boasting a beautiful view of the water through a series of doorwalls and windows across the entire front of the house: Gathering room, Kitchen and Eating area.

There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths - one bedroom and full bath are located on the first floor.  The home is clean, well maintained and has a non-smoking policy.

Down the street is Sans Souci, where you can get a bite to eat, pick up groceries, pizza, fresh baked goods or get an ice cream cone. This is truly the place for slowing down and relaxing.

 Parking is right out front and ample for multiple cars and watercraft with nearby water access.  The fishing here is some of the best in the state.
